Tent in a shed with no vents

Hey Rollers,

I'm planning on running a 1mx1mx2m tent inside a shed (W150cmxH250cmxL750cm) is a fairly long space. Problem is that it doesn't have any vents. It has concrete walls and stone chip on the outside and its a rented property so I can do anything to it.
I've noticed there's small gaps running along the top of the walls connecting to the roof..

Planning on running a 6" t6 cloudline OR 6" hyperfan stealth (havnt decided yet) with a 5"or 6" inline fan,

2x 250w quantum boards.

I'll be growing in coco so I'll be in and out almost everyday so the door will be open everyday for atleast a hour or so.

Do you think it will be feasible? Fucking hope so, panicking now . Picture of the shed is below. Cheers

Its doable.

I'd modify the door. Something you can replace or fix. Stick an intake vent in it. Using the spaces at the ceiling to exhaust.

Or two holes in the door. One at the top for exhaust one at the bottom for intake. So fresh air is pumped in. The small cleaned exhaust pumped out.

Your big issue will be smell. All those open spaces at the ceiling will let the smell out. They need to be plugged.

Sorry should of mentioned ill be purchasing a carbon filter to attach to the fan. Tent will be zipped up at all times for the negative pressure only open for watering and defoling.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to cut into anything to make holes . Small gaps won't be efficient enough i guess for pulling air from or out?. The doors are thick metal so pretty secure shed.

Oh you can use the cracks and gaps in the walls for air coming in but the problem here is how will you extract the air? Thats the only issue i see here but its doable id run a tent inside lights on at night and find someway too properly extract the air like find a spot were you can fit a 6 inch duct for air going outside.

Can you run CO2 in there?

If needed I can, havnt really got the knowledge with co2. I've seen you can get bags but I don't know how often you need to replace them and I've heard its has to be air tight to use co2?

I’ve just set up similar design bro n I’ve got a demo saw n whole saws and cut ventilation wholes in... and obviously out..but it’s clear that’s not an option I’d say ul need more vent than that can u run a extraction fan and pipe in and out of fresh air.

Biggest problem i have is the inner walls are concrete and outer is stone chip. The roof is steel and the doors are thick steel. Id say there's ample gaps running along the top of the walls where its not sealed so iknow air can get in. I'm just not able to make any holes . I get inspections every 6months so they'd wonder why there's a hole in the shed roof. I don't know what to do. I really need to get a grow set up.

How big of gaps do you have at the top? Might be able to get or make some kind of slim duct work if there is enough of a gap.

How are temps in the shed normally?

Take a picture of your largest gap please anything is possible if necessity is involved. I’ve macguyvered many things.

So the 1st 2 pictures are above the door way, the second picture is just stuffed with polystyrene so I can take them out and there will be gaps running all along it. 3rd picture is the side of the shed, see where branches coming through? So it's not sealed all along it so there gaps along the side at the top. If that makes sense.

As for temp, its currently -3 outside, inside the shed is about 7c but thats without a set up yet. Assuming once lights and that are in there it will be more stable as I'll have a heater in there with controllers until weather warms up.

I have an entrance on each side so its the same above the doorway on the other side.

That big gap with the branches will be easy to fashion something to exhaust out of. You could make a sort of box cover for it and attach an oval shaped exhaust tip to that and vent through. It will also help with light leaks

I think the gap looks bigger then it is. That's my bad with the shitty picture. What your seeing on that picture is a plastic covering along the top. It looks like the branch has come from underneath it and found its way in. So there are gaps but not massive.

Seal it up tight, spray foam is your friend, insulate the hell out of it or when it's cool outside you will get condensation on the walls and mold will result. This will also remedy light leaks and places for bugs to intrude. Run a sealed CO2 enriched grow. Dehumidification and AC are critical.
