Tent with 3 lights?

It sounds like you are on the right path. Personally I would like a larger AC unit, at least a 10k BTU preferably a 12k for that type of setup but with the lights.. running 3 1000k ballasts will certainly give you a decent amount of coverage for 32 Sq/ft of space.

My Reflector I am running with a Ushio HPS lamp powered by a 1000 Watt ballast in a 5x5 Tent covers a nice 4x4 area adequately.. but sitting right beside it I have mounted a higher end "HPS Killer" type LED fixture by a company called Optic Lighting.. that is supposed to be comparable to a 1000 Watt HPS setup.. also giving me a similar footprint. Together in tandem, those two lights are going to produce amazing results. I have never been as satisfied as I ever was with my grow, ever.. as when I ran MH and HPS side by side.. and this LED running along side the HPS is mimicking those results as the LED I chose, runs at 4000k color spectrum and provides a lot of the spectrum used in photosynthesis that would otherwise be provided from both a Metal Halide lamp or an HPS lamp. It really is an amazing light.

For your application.. just trying to get adequate floor coverage.. and only seeking to get 32 Sqft.. Qty. 3 of 1000watt ballasts and bulbs will definitely pull that off and I think you will be most pleased with the results.

Just as important as environment however of course when it comes to producing large yields.. genetics.
What strains are you running/considering?

To me yield isn't "Everything" but it is pretty damn close. If I am going to grow... I want to grow a lot of bud. I keep the larger yielding strains that give me the wow factor and try to re-run them to see how they perform as a clone. The problem with running seed plants is you never know what you're going to get.. but if you pick a strain that is generally known as a really high yielding performer... like TGA's Timewreck... that's just the first one that came to my mind... you can easily pull 6 or 7 females out of a 10 pack.. 4 will yield great.. and you'll maybe get a couple of real rockstars that are just gianormous.. and maybe one that isn't as great.. but not every pack of seeds from every breeder will give you this type of performance.. in fact most will not.

and then finally it also comes down to how well you feed and take care of.. maintain your plant. What nutes you use, etc. (nevermind I see you use GH flora... I would reccomend ditching that stuff.. sure it works.. I've used it, and actually did a 20+ plant grow one time using only those nutes.. there's no comparison to Botanicare's Pure Blend Pro or KIND nutes. The Flora series really affects taste/smell/terpene production and not in a good way. you lose a lot of taste and smells that you wouldn't realize unless you tried another nutrient line. i've witnessed it firsthand.. but the GH stuff is really easy to use). do you use a bloom booster.. and if so what kind.? I'm a Botanicare guy so I stick with their lineup. You can also do other little things to help keep the plants happy by feeding teas periodically and using Smart Pots instead of traditional plastic pots. I try to do every little thing possible to pack on those extra grams.. they all add up.

Good luck on your venture! May a huge harvest await you at the end.

I did use smart pots in a make shift poly tent on my second grow it was Master Kush in soil (I dont remember by who). I got 13 ozs off of 5 plants but it was terrible no buzz at all. I really neglected those plants, thats why my sig is what it is. I will definitely get them again.

Also ive tried a bloom booster for the first time ever this grow ATAMI Bloombastic. I did use some CANNA PK I3/14 about 5 days before I added the Bloombastic I havent seen any ill effects. Thanks for the positive vibes.

Very healthy, but very green looking ladies. The Flora nutes will do that actually.. Idk if you're feeding the manufacturers recommendation or going by the Lucas Method (what I did when I used it) but I did notice regardless the plants kept green and never really experienced that normal near harvest fade most of us are accustomed to. The terpene profile was definitely lacking.. less smell/taste.. more chlorophyll in the plant.. the plant even with a real good flush at the end with a garden hose in the backyard.. I still couldn't get the clean white ash burn that I would have wanted that organic growers will tell you about. You can still get this level of performance with Botanicare products as with Advanced Nutrients products as well.. although you'll spend a lot more money.

What I have used in the past is Botanicare Pure Blend Pro and added a Bloombooster. I like to use Beastie Bloomz personally.. which is not a Botanicare product, it is 0-50-30..you can add Beastie Bloomz to any fertilizer lineup as a booster as long as you cut back on the bloom nutes a little during that application.

Comparing the two.... notice the huge difference in N-P-K ratios... the Beastie Bloomz is meant to stack weight. Adding flower clusters. More of a bulkener type product and not so much as a finisher. Plus it adds a Chelating Agent which helps with overall nutrient absorption.. since it is a salt based product.. one bottle of this stuff will last for years and years. Plus. it's cheap! You can buy a one pound jar of it for $30 or so that will last many harvests.

Bloombastic is 0-14-15 Potassium Phosphate, Potassium Hydroxide, Phosphoric Acid, Iron EDTA, Phosphorus Penta oxide, Clay mineral.

Beastie Bloomz 0-50-30 Mono Potassium Phosphate, Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Copper, Chelating Agent, Disodium Ethylenediamine Tetra Acetate (EDTA), Sodium Borate, Sodium Molybdate and Kelp.

Of course everyone has their own way of doing things and everyone's way is different.. but I find that cutting back 1/4 strength on my bloom nutes from the 3rd week of bloom and adding the Beastie Bloomz to the regiment is what has worked best for me. I have been known to grow some buds bigger than 2 liter soda bottles under 600 watt lamps. If you were to try this method I would suggest adding the Beastie Bloomz in at 1/4 dry tsp per gallon your first application... see how the plants respond.. and then the next feeding.. if all is well..and should be.. up the doseage of the Beaste Bloomz to 1/2 tsp per gallon all while still feeding with your regular nutrients that are cut back at about 1/4 the regular strength. This will make a big difference in your overall weight. A noticeable one.

There's another product out there Mad Farmer’s M.O.A.B. (Mother of All Blooms) 0-52-32 people seem to like.. as well as Growtek Monster Bloom 0-50-30.. but I stick with my Beastie Bloomz 0-50-30 because I bought it once and it worked so well that i never felt the need to change or try another alternative.

Getting ready to sprout 16 autos for my very first grow. Gonna go big or go broke trying lol. I have 6 Vast and Fast, 5 Green Crack and 5 LSD 25's all from Herbies Seed Bank. I have a 10x10 Mylar 600d grow tent with a "Apollo Horticulture" 1000w dimable MH and HPS light. A Ventech inline fan with 440 CFM carbon filter and 6 inch vent. I'm gonna grow in 5 gallon fabric smart pots. I've done a couple months of research on growing autos but everything is different. Just gonna let it fly and try and read the plants as to what they need and when they need it. Any Advise?????

My advise would be to start a thread of your own. Best of luck.

IKR! Ive actually done Lucas Formula in flower for this grow as well. Perhaps I should do it from veg next time.

Its probably not the light , Unless your using 3 year old bulbs. Veg time and roots is probably what you need!
Wanna increase yield? Then simply l.s.t or train with a tomato cage or netting. More light is ok but not the be all end all to a better harvest, More flowers require more bud sites, more bud sites require more nodes, more nodes are achieved by training, lst etc.

So do you guys tend to go over the flowering time recommended by the breeder?
I would not use there timeframe as your guide, rather id do what you do, keep them happy as possible and wait for your harvest window to show itself, esp if your growing hybrids, it's hard to tell which will go early and which will be finicky. Ive seen some strains that were 8 week suggested go for 10-11 weeks.

They're almost always off by being a little too optimistic with finishing time. Everybodys situation is different so you have no good choice but to learn to read your own plants. I think, and others here have said it too that when a plant is truly done it takes on a certain look that tells you its done. After that, a scope on the trichs taken from different parts of the plant will tell you as well. If your still seeing a lot of clear trichs its just not ready, regardless of how many weeks its been flowering.

Wow Ive been very naive thus far. I usually chop on or a couple days after. Problem is grow shops only stuck those magnifiers with lights on them. They're actually more like telescopes and they're very tricky to use. Plus you can only check miniscules parts of a bud rather than whole buds at a time.
