Terminator Salvation
Directed by: McG
Starring: Christian Bale, Moon Bloodgood, Sam Worthington

I rarely get to go out to the movies but tonight I had the privilege of going with my favorite girl...
The movie was good, not great, but good. The fight scenes were intense but short lived. The acting was good all around from the lead roles down to the supporting roles. I enjoyed it. I was really high when I saw it, but I don't think you would hafta be to really enjoy it. Anyone that's seen it feel free to post, I'd like to hear what you thought

I actually really enjoyed that movie.
Wasn't a huge fan of the other terminators and I didn't even know this one was coming out and my girl took me to it.

I thought it was a great movie though, like you said the acting was good.
Rarely do I see a movie where I was impressed with the acting all around.

This move was OK at best, and that's being generous. It offered nothing more than what's already been established. The characters are lucid, and transparent. The plot is thin. The only thing good about the movie were the visual effects. We already KNEW the world was overrun by Terminators. We already knew there was a knew the world was bleak and desolate. We already knew Kyle was John's father. The only new question they posed is WHO is Marcus Wright? I wanted to know the answer to some relevant questions, and they just weren't provided. They made there opening picture a filler, which is something you don't do. We're supossed to be provided with new information. All this movie did was provide faces for events we already knew. If you watched the previous films this was just a music video. Hot effects, pretty people, and lots of bling.

I enjoyed the new Terminator.

Christian Bale has been one of my favorite actors since American Psycho!

It reminded me of how they made the Batman series a little darker and more Gritty. The special effects were pretty awesome and the story was good but not great. I rarely get out to the movies but this one was actually worth the price of admission.

I give it a 7/ 10 :)

I havent seen it after my die hard Terminator friend who begged me to go say afterwards that it was the worst movie he has ever seen.

So no one is allowed to have a different opinion than yours?

As for the grammar of my last post in here......keep in mind it was 3 AM and I was talking to someone as I wrote that.

Dude you really can't be serious. If you're allowed to give an opinion I'm allowed to disregard, ridicule, laugh, or poke fun at it...right? That's simply what I did. I didn't attack your opinion. I didn't discredit your movie taste...I simply laughed at you. I didn't say a thing about your grammar. That's your own personal convictions projected onto me. So chill out with the sensitivity...please.

Personally I think Terminator 2 and Aliens were the only 2 sequels that were better than the originals. This was a nice installment but like it was said before it introduced nothing new.
