terrified

hoping to get some help with easing my paranoia. i've got a bunch of plants in my backyard, in various stages of development-- a couple budding for weeks, many others not yet showing sex. fear of overhead surveilance has got me thinking i should rip them all out.

the only concern i've really got is for the possibility of being spotted by overhead spectral imaging-- otherwise i think i'm solid.

can anyone chime-in on how heavy the surveilance of backyard grows is in New England? specifically MA? i've got some serious potential with this grow, but i'm terrified of getting klinked!

i know this may seem terribly paranoid...

i guess it would depend on the amount

when you use the phrase "serious potential" i would have to assume its a lot

i dont have any advice as far as not getting caught other than good luck, and they arent really going to use an overhead to bust 1 or 2 plants

I know it's a little "sketchy" telling us how many plants you got going. It would all depend on how many you have and how well hidden they are. I usually tell people not to worry, but it all depends on how visible/obvious they are. Maybe you could post a picture of your yard( photochopped of course wink)

edit: the wink was suspossed to go at the end for the......uh....photochopped picture....

i appreciate the feedback. i've got 18 now and it looks like they're all girls-- i was expecting to have less than half that many after they showed sex. now i'm not sure what to do. they're all pretty discreet... in fact pretty well hidden. i'm not worried about neighbors...my real concern is with that spectral imaging shit from above. from what i gather, plants show up like neon in the dark. i've heard it's the National Guard that runs this stuff in sept and oct, then they notify the locals or DEA.
i'm scared-- i've somehow got too much!!! i love those girls but it's just not worth the outlandish punishment that goes along with getting busted.
does anyone know about eradication programs in MA?

I'm in a neghboring state to you. I hear what you're saying.
All week I've had neighbors, surveyors, yard maintenance, and what-nots around my grow corner of my yard.
Today, fear made me go out with the clippers and make them disapear!!! Just not worth going to the lawyers over.
Had already initiated plans for inside growing. Now I need to get the lead out and get something working.
I was able to gather up a doz. clones first though. So all is not lost.

shit, i hope i'm not fueling a "paranoia machine". just hoping someone can shed some light on risk factors in this region-- seems like there are some significant differences state to state.

Read up on your laws on NORML website. In NY State anything under a certain amount of plants is a misdemeanor, unless you have scales and shit and appear to be selling, then you got problems. Just let the plants be and remember, they have to prove it's you, could have been some "punk" kids in the neighborhood having fun with their bagseed, LOL. If it's all in your yard then wipe any buckets clean of fingerprints and play stupid, that's what I'll do if need be!

just think about it man, do you think they have the time to look at everyone's backyards? so many people probably have trees and vegtables and bushes,,,ect growing in thier backyard. there is no computer than can make weed light up or anything. its just another plant in a world full of millions of diffferent kinds of plants.

so take a drive around and look at all your neighbor's house's cuz you'll have to go there to buy some of thier homegrown, when you rip out all of your plants

LOL, not really.
I'm living in a strange area. Excessive tourism, summer people, and simply not being a trusting sort made me do it.
I've grown O.S. for several years and no issues what-so-ever. Last year next door was bought and I don't know the new people. They are a bit strange IMO. Then again, they're from the Boston area. Seem a bit uppity from the little I've spoke / seen of them.
Along with the grow, I hunt too. That would raise all sorts of issues on a bust. Adding to it is the idea that I make some hunting gear and do some canning. That brings in scales, guns, dehydrators, filter systems, and a bunch of things that could be very incriminating if pushed.

Basicly,,, "Better safe than sorry" for me.

I'm in the process of finding a smoke friendly doctor to get my card. I'm sure I easily qualify from all that I've read and seen. Problem is, all my present doctors (4 of them) are either anti or just don't want to participate / help for whatever reason.
So far, it's not been easy. Seems even the ones that helped push it through are overly cautouse about new clients asking for a green card. But, I'm still looking (at $100 a peep! - office visit)

state police runs the marijuana eradication program, with help (helicoptors) from the natl guard.... that shit costs alot of money though, and they dont get much funding per year.... where I'm at, they got three days in this year back in july, and that may be all for the year..... depends on your state and the funding.... if its a huge problem there, you may have more funding, but i wouldnt worry too much.

trust me your fine.
out of all the houses in the world , they wouldn't look into your backyard
and spot your plants, and think they are marijuana.
something would have to spark their interest
on your property.
if you don't have any flourecent orange fencing
or anyother thing thats tottally heat bag ..
then your fine .
just chilll out and smoke a jay.

this was the info i was looking for. i know it takes a boatload of cash to run the erad. programs-- particularly with the cutting edge equipment, but i know that it is still done- however sparse. i don't think MA is a heavy producing state for growing, but i really don't know how to find out how much effort/cash is directed toward thwarting the efforts.

it's still so incredibly stupifying to think that growing a plant could be potentially felonious. mind blowing foolishness.
