This weeks update is looking good. We have major bud growth on the stalks and at the internodes when it comes to the god bud. As for the lemon skunk a bit of stretching has been observed this week with less growth in regards to budding.

Plants with the purple spec on and also same pics with out the led's on

Here is the growth of the bud that was observed

Here is a topographical view of the rows of plants

This week the canopy filled out horizontally by about 2 inches and we have had about 1 1/2" to 2 inches of stretch (on sativa's) on average.

The lighting fixture is 34 inches off of the ground. We need to move the fixture up by about 2 inches this week.

Current RH and temps.

Drain to waist, Flora Nova (GH) ph 6.3 // full strength PPM is the current recipe which we use.

Sorry for being (only a day this time) late. I was at the Vancouver occupy protest and been super busy with education right before it so yeah, here it is. :P

Ok, The pics were taken exactly on the first fay of the third week into budding.

This week i messed up a bit with the feed. Got mixed up and watered when i should have fed. Got a bit of yellowing and a tinny bit of water leaf lose. All remedied with a bit more cal mag on the second feed of the previous week.

Temp: 80 degrees
RH: High... 45% / Low... 40%
PH: 6.3 / Full PPM
Still with drain to waist full strength with added cal mag. This weed though i will add much needed carbo hydrates, not sure what yet. Honey was suggested but not easily obtainable locally.

Bellow the pics illustrate the lights on/off:

This is the official update for beginning of week 4 flower. (2 days late). Day 23 of flowering.

Recipe is still Drain to waist, Flora Nova (GH) ph 6.3 // full strength (week 7 on the GH recipe). I've added 1 drop per liter of superthrive and also 1ml per liter of carboload. for a full vitamin complex and added carbohydrates. I noticed a bit of yellowing on lower water leaves so I added a bit more cal/mag (1ml per gal extra.)

Bellow are pictures of the lights on/off:

Got a new thermometer, the old one failed. this one shows relative humidity and also temps. Added bonus is the clock on it also:

General notes: No more stretching has been observed tus we will not be moving the fixture up anymore. We are just a week away from half time and I'm really excited at the results that we have achieved thus far. The reservoir temp is a constant 24 degree Celsius, 75 degrees Fahrenheit. i noticed a bit of yellowing on lower leaves so I added a bit more cal/mag (1ml per gal extra.)

This is the official update for the beginning week 5.

Lights on, lights off ...

The temps/ rh...

Up close and personal...

This week we observed the buds swelling up quite a bit. With out disturbing the plants the scent is crazy aromatic. We also observe from the close ups that we have some heavy crystal production (started 3 weeks ago) even on the fox tail leaves on the bus.

I almost forgot in my last update thread. Here is the calendar for the month. To be noted is that Incrementally added more liquid as they got bigger.

This weeks official update has a mixed bag of messages. Some good some not so good. First off let's start with the not so good. We noticed some yellowing of the leaves on some spots that i sweated on. The lights i think burnt some leaves because of that. Aside from that being the official week 7 update thread that means that our little journey threw space and time together will end soon.

That being said, time to move onto bigger and better things. This week we will induce a 7 to 10 flush depending on how the plants feel. While i flush i also add some carbo hydrates to still feed the plants. Normally in this period we would observe some serious swelling for this period.

We observed the sativa hybrids (the lemon skunk) is not growing massive buds as we are used to thus i think maybe an extra week or 2 of feed might be in order. Not to sure how long we are going to push it yet. The indica's (godbud) seem to be about right for this period thus those we will induce the flush we were discussing earlier. Normally around this time i would probably feed them for another week entirely but the crystals (are starting to get milky) are telling me that the window is now currently opened and it needs to be acted upon

Last week we had to steak the plants because the stems cannot carry all of the weight of the buds above.

This weeks pictures ...

Yes danielsan ... wax on wax off, no no wrong movie i mean lights on lights off lol...

Calvin this is the information you asked about in regards to the hygrometer. The first one i had was a true temp hygrometer. It failed however. the batteries were left in there for to long i guess. The leaked inside the unit and the unit is dead. The current on is a accu-temp hygrometer which we obtained from home depot.

Week 8 flower update...

And you thought we were done!?! Nahhhhh, i get to bug you guys and gals for another week. Which leads to this is our official update for the beginning of week 8.

The Godbud plants will still be flushed with water and carbohydrates. The Lemon skunks were fed right to this update and will also be flushed this week along with the godbud.

We can observe allot of swelling and filling in was done this week. As these little ladies rippen we can see that density and weight will not be an issue. These are on par with hid for sure in regards to density. In regards to quality i can definitely attest to the fact that there is 3, maybe even 4 times more crystal then on hid plants. The pictures say it all on this one.

I wanted to address density specifically because it was pointed out and asked about previously. Yes, the density is on par (equal to), actually maybe even a bit more dense then 1000w grown ganja! On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most dense this is a 10. I got a bit antsy and wanted to run some tests last week when i said i was supposed to crop the godbud i did. Well, 2 plants to check out as a preliminary test. I was simply amazed. Here are the pictures (These 2 plants are the the smallest ones in the middle. Pheno 1). Aside from all that jazz we can have added stakes to hold up the buds because even though we were using potasium silicate, the buds are so big that the branches are starting to fall over.

nice airy buds you have the magnums trademark! will you be overstating your final weight by 45% to get a discount off future purchuses ? you must be since this grow is journeled on 5 sites .. you really are whoring it aint you
You know that feeling when you’re looking at my nugs, that’s envy, get used to it. It’s just simply mind over matter: I don’t mind, you don’t matter. Thinking your going to bait me into an argument is pathetic. I've offered full disclosure with pics the whole way. Heck i practically gave everyone a step by step, plug and play recipe for success. Also I'l meet you in vancouver bc anytime to show you my dank. Best dank you've seen in your life. IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE! It's not my fault that your mad because you don't know how to grow son, you don't need to be mad about it either. Just set down the weed for a minute and try to learn something different. I promise in your case it will do wonders. Oh and another thing. I don't even know who this ledbudguy is that your referring to. I paid for my lights and they were shipped. I kept the shipping papers and bill of lading pictures. Want to see? Have a nice day hater! :)

Ok, chop chop time.

Godbud, Plant 5, pheno 1

Godbud, Plant 1, pheno 1

Godbud, Plant 3, pheno 1

Godbud, Plant 3, pheno 2 (Awkward positioning so had to take extra pic)

Godbud, Plant 5, pheno 2 (I know the bucket says different but the notes are right).

Ridiculous amounts of copious resin which i like to call hippy gold (Only from 10 plants) ...

Nothing ever goes to waist. The trim we use to make some excellent mind bending hashish (trim to the left).

More heads are better then one! (God bud best heads)...

Let's examine these more up close and personal.

Even closer you ask? Sure no prob we say ...

@ Break time, Fucker which i like to call him in this case got into the nugs while i was away in the washroom. He ate a tinny bit. I suspect not much cause he had the same face as he does when he eats a good dullop of peanut butter. *Sigh* No big deal, he slept it off and was sharp as w whistle the next mornin.

ok, that finalizes the crop pictures for godbud, next up is the lemon skunk.

This update is a bit un organised in that I didnt mark the phenos. I was a bit sick and pretty groggy so i will try and comment on what i can.

General notes: The godbud took on the big bud stature of the LS and the LS took on the tight indica dominant loo with the tear drop buds. In other words what the strain lacked under HID, it gained under the LED grow.

The leaf loss/gain is LED is different. Actually far different then with HID's. There is little leaf gain in flowering phase. Also to be noted is there is very little leaf loss over the whole period. Normally with HID's i have to pic up piles of the stuff and I also have to take them off the plants once a week to keep it clean. NOT with LED's. I had to take off dead leafs maybe once every 3 weeks.

Quality: 10/10
Density: 10/10
Quantity: 10/10

Take down after the break of the lemon skunk funk.

Pheno cmk, plant cmk

Pheno 1, plant cmk-

Pheno ?, plant cmk2

General smoking notes. The bag appeal is off the chart on this weed. Usually it's a commercial type with not such a close trim. These nugs are trophy nugs however. The looks of the nugs can easily pass as AAA grade due to the amount of crystal. The smell of the LS is exceptional and unmistakable. When a jar is opened after only 1 weeks cure, you notice a heavy dominant smell of skunk, It's an uplifting, positive old school type of smell that brings me good memories of the good times in the past. I'm really impressed and encouraged by these results.
