Having labs close doesn't necessarily mean anything. I have one within walking distance of my home but you have to have a commercial license to have testing done.

Sorry about that. I was stoned and had one those "profound revelations ". What was happening was the dye (food coloring) is in water and didn't soak into the paper where the oil was. The paper got dyed, not the sample. Besides, the ink is organic so it wouldn't work anyway. DancesWithWeeds

Don't know if you're in a med or rec State, but even if you just have a patient card, you should still be able to do Potency and Terps for around $60. Full Panel (if you really want to know everything), is around $360.

I'm sure it varies by state but all of the labs here in Oregon that I've looked into require an OLCC, OHA, or ODA license number.
OLCC- "Oregon Liquor Control Commission" licenses recreational cannabis.
OHA-"Oregon Health Authority" licenses medical cannabis.
ODA-"Oregon Department of Agriculture" licenses hemp.
I've thought about getting one of the Cannalytics kits. They're $139 for a kit that does 16-20 tests. I probably will end up getting one as I've got some Ethiopian going and it's a high THCV strain and I noticed these test for that as well.

I know this is an old thread, but I figured I would see if I can get anything here before trying to make something new. Are there at home tests now a days that are "reliable" mainly just curious about my stuff lol
