If those are baby seeds, would you professional growers consider this harvest a failure? would baby seeds in the buds affect the taste? they were so tiny most of what I could see was the size of a grain of sand and still green, a few were brown but like I said I am not even sure they are seeds so please let me know what you think...


Regardless of what this is (maybe that's what cutting through fresh buds looks like), the smoke will be great on this AO , I am worry about whatever will be coming out next, if I had pollen in the room, the rest is going to come out with mature seeds ...

those are not fertilized beans bro....they are unfertilized ovules......some strains have really plump eggs, a few of my strains are like that......you have nothing to worry about, they will shrink to almost nothing when they dry, and will not affect the smoke one bit....nice work by the way...nugs

I second GeekMike no hash made with Dry Ice and bags will ever be as good as Ice water Bubble. Sorry Its just a fact that its not as good. Doesnt taste as good and its just different all around in my expierence. Nothing beats the full melt bubble i make following Subs way although i do like the looks of Matt Rizes Ice wax and am probably gonna buy a little bubble magic machine to make it. But anyway there is people that cut the corners always looking for the faster way to do with the dry ice. These are the people that usually have the alright stuff you know substandard not top of the line. Then you have the conneseur that puts in the extra time and man power and patience with a little bit of love that makes his own top of the line shit that trichfiend is what i am. I have always believed that if you do something you do it right and 100%. I am not saying my way is better than your way cause were all extracting trichs im just saying mine taste better and melts all the way down more so than any of my friends that go the dry ice route.

from what I have learned in the last couple days I would say that it is a nanner... good eye truepunk... and also considering the buds looks like its more than ready I would try and save that pollen!!!

Yikes I better give that one a closer inspection tonight... i figured it was just a yellow leaf but will double check... it is close to some intense light so could be a deceptively yellow bud leaf

ok i checked... does appear to have been an immature nanner i found one more it pretty much came apart when i pulled it out with tweezers. checked 2 of my other aces found none... my 5 gallon one is starting to throw off bud chunks now i was concerned they might be seed pods or something checked close and it was just the buds getting nice and chunky -- sweet

i just added UV lighting a little over a week ago just a few inches above where those nanners popped up... any possibility they are related? the plants seem to really love the UV lighting and have gotten even frostier it seems... could just be normal the others that don't have nanners aren't directly under the UV.

Just you guys wait a month or two til I start showing off my ace cutting in veg... it is in a 3.4 gallon airpot now and is just over 1' tall with an even canopy of around 3 dozen growth shoots (FIMed/trained)... she's gonna veg around 3 more weeks to let those growth shoots get a little height and thickness to support some nice big buds... she'll get transplanted into a 5 gallon airpot with super soil about a week before flower

The buds are definitely getting a finished look but it's only day 45 and they definitely need more time for plumping up guessing they should be done right around day 56 nothing but water from here on out for all of'em.... the mom of big red in veg is probably going to get pulled this weekend she doesn't have much in the way of fan leaves left except a few at the top barely hanging in there and she looks done other than i'd like a bit more weight on her

I'm gonna spare you guys pics of my 5 timewreck and 5 chernobyl seedlings... they just look like nice under 1 week seedlings at this point I'm quite happy that there is some good variation from the onset between indica and pheno variations... and also i like the big petioles on the chernobyls. Chernobyl seedlings hang dong.

Thanks. Yeah I was using Sub's method with the metal spoon. I had 5 gal bags and a lot of material. I found a nice metal drill bit which all I had to do was smooth out the edge. It works great and pulls a ton of hash. I'm a top shelf, primo guy myself, that's why I went with 4 TGA stains. The couple of Cantaloupe Skunk's by ISP was far inferior in every way down to the root ball.

I have 2 AO in the same container, I believe they both showed sex around the same day... one seems to be almost ready, they other seems to be 2+weeks off, is there a pheno that mature much faster?

Just wanted to post a few pics of my chernobyl full melt bubble. its mmm soooo good. This particular chernobyl plant has a real earthy taste with a hint of lime. The plant was covered in trichs. Hopefully i have a tiny bomb pheno in my space bomb. We will see. Theres no shortcuts here when making the bubble. No Dry Ice just H20 ice and more h20

This isn't really a hash debate thread is it? I've never had dry ice hash, but the stuff sub has been getting from matt rize looks as good or better than any ice hash i've ever had. I wouldn't say ice hash is bad because i can't make better than matt's... i think it's a bit unfair to say dry isn't good because you personally can't make better dry ice hash than normal bubble. looks great but frankly from the stuff sub has had in his videos made from dry ice i'd choose that every time. it's just to each his own and whichever they prefer and are better at. I don't see why we need to go out of our way to try and dog on another way to do something because we prefer our own way. With that said, fuck anyone who doesn't grow organic in soil BOOM.

I don't think Matt Rize uses the dry ice method Sensei, from what i remember seeing it was a really dope stainless steel set up for ice water extraction. Pretty sure the ice in his Ice Wax is from the crushed variety. Anyone have intimate knowledge on the subject?

he even says he prefers to use his own home made ice... I doubt he makes dry ice at home

May be wrong on matt but same principles apply... anyway here's my latest ace of spades... looking naked eye looks just about done... but macros tell another story

Matt only makes ice water etracts/ ice and water... he doesnt use dry ice at all. He has stated he makes his own ice cubes for the process due to store bought melting to fast which is a problem. unless he's recently just gotten into dry ice i've never seen or heard him mention anything about using dry ice, he's all about the ice water extracts.

Chernobyl left and dairy queen right. Grown outdoors in cen cal. I have grown allot of strains from the early 90's tell now and I have to say all the subcool strains i have seen and grown come out fire. What up Fog99!
