I noticed the same thing. Males or Females show up around day 27 or so. 12/1

To be truthful, even when I ran 18/6, I’ve always had my veg plants show sex early and those plants that did show sex took up very little space.

Vortex f2 day 32 of veg. Had the first male show up plus another female showed sex. Plus a ‘mutant’ just not growing normal up top. Hasn’t shown sex but I killed it anyway.

I got a pack of vortex some time in 2010/2011 then a couple of years later i got a pack of conspiracy kush, loved both. FFW to 2021 and i found some seeds left from both and decided to pollen chuck some together to help keep the genetics around.
I crossed this male conspiracy kush with the female vortex and managed to get about 80 seeds.

FFWD to this years outdoor grow and i finally decided to test the beans and see what i created and this is the outcome, its at about wk 4 of flower.
so far she smells almost exactly like the vortex, a nice peachy fruit smell and shes bulking up large like the conspiracy kush did, pretty happy with it so far. No im not selling/giving away beans.

I wish I had one or two of those cuts. Vortex was a brief blip in my memory. My grows of it have faded away lol.

Vortex f2 day 14 or 15. 2 are short and look similar but this one is the taller one. Grown straight up not topped. They’re growing so fast, she’s up to my chin already and I’m 6’1”.
Puff Adder and Vintage Vinyl. Had some issues with them earlier and decided to start over. Day 1 of bud. Not vegged too long. 1st generation clone.
