I am trying to narrow my list of strains I want to continually grow. I already decided on a couple for now. Trying to get info on TGA Subcool's Querkle, Qleaner, & Jillybean. I am interested in adding 1 or 2 of these to finish off my list. Any info on these strains would be appreciated. experience growing, or smoking???

Metal head has caused me to reevaluate my thoughts on this..

OK truthfully I was wrong..
Most of his gear has the potential for offering some superb phenos which would
make a keeper mother of exquisite smoke...
I know this because I have bred many of the same types from the same gene pool.

Due to his use of many Bro Grimm stock and some of Vic's old selections ...
The Killer queen etc..

Although they are 4 way crosses the phenos that will appear will vary greatly
but all offer high resin, fast maturing, plants with a great variety of fruity smells..

I love variety so I can't knock Ol Subby's gear ....
especially they are all a great change from the absolute shit that so many are
offering the public selected from the Fad gene pool..

OG Kush
Chem

His agent Orange is some great stuff...

No hate here....lol!

Sure if you like a bunch of polyhybrids then go ahead!

Sub has nothing but a cross x another cross ....

Not a damned stable thing he has to offer,,nothing will
be as he describes and it's all a crap shoot!

POLYHYBRIDS!!!!!!! Take it to the bank!
He's a pollen chucker with a camera that takes nice shots not a breeder...
Well according to that logic everything Attitude, Nirvana and all the other seed banks sell would fall under this misinformed category. Querkle Qleaner and Jillybean are three distinct strains. (and yes they do have pheno differences) I would say say to grow all three and see which U like best. I have grown the Quekle and I think it is a damn fine smoke. looks good tastes goood and a very stony high.

Here is my opinion on TGA strains: My opinion btw is based on what I have so far smoked and grown of TGA genetics. I only recently stumbled upon the whole scene of TGA but in that time I have done a crapload of reading about them, searching for reliable samples to test them, and obtaining a 10 pack of Vortex to grow out....
I freaking love them. Seriously. To cut to the chase It seems that because, as the 1st person to respond to your question mentioned, the strains are hybrids and they have some variation. However, the "keeper" pheno(s) that are found in the strains I have had (I have not had every strain in their menu right now...) are amazing. And not only that....they are EXTREMELY close to the description that Subcool provides. I honestly did a month or so of reading on strains like Jillybean and Spacebomb before locating reputable sources of nice finished flowers.....and upon smoking I was greeted with an intense flavor that I was expecting (Orange candy for the Jilly and super-sour rotting fruit on the Spacebomb..) The highs are also very well descibed. I have had some very happy experiences on Jillybean and JTR kills my backpain does great at killing pain. My experience so far at growing Vortex is (they are in week 4 of flowering..) that I had all 5 seeds I started germinate. I had 4 females out of the 5 plants. Yes all 4 females are different, but 3 of the four look phenomenal at this point. I have never seen resin-production at week 4 like this before. I had been growing Chem#4 before and I thought it had a lot of resin early on. Nothing campared to the Vortex right now! The smell from two of the females is, again, exactly as described with a crazy mango/lemonade smell, and the other 2 smell amazing as well (just more pepper in one and lemon in the other..) Time will tell how it will cure up, but I am very excited. Anyway...sorry for the long response but to be honest I get suprised by opinions like the 1st person, but to each his own and we all have different preferences. For me though; I feel like TGA strains are realiable for me so far in potency and flavor. Have a good day!:joint:

If you don't mind me asking, what strains are you growing?

Jack the Ripper is the only Subcool strain I have grown and I have grown close to 40 strains. It is probably my third favorite strain I have ever grown with Sour Bubble and Sensi Star being the 1st two. JTR has a few different phenos but the one I found was a big producer, around 5 dried oz., with a sweet blueberry taste and a excellent high. Resin production was also very high. It also was not very smelly with more of a mango fruit smell during flowering. If his JTR is this good I'm sure the others would be stellar also.
