TH-SEEDS mk ultra X bubblegum in a waterfarm

Removed damaged growth from the panties the mk-X - bubblegum is expanding daily I got this syringe to lull nutrients from my waterfarms via the drain tube I pull them first & discharge it on the hydroton then sample on the second pull insuring I get nutes from the reservoir & not the stuff that's been sitting in the drain hoseimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Mate u are overfeeding Ur plants try half suggested nutes! Dark green leaves means too much nitrogen!

if you want the master class in using the water farm read scottyballs g13 pineapple express grow journal, follow it exactly and you will grow better than ever!

Changed out nutes tonight dropped both plants to 452 ppm. Of floranova bloom only ph.5.6 when I drain I'm putting the nutes into the homemade unit & a beefsteak tomato plant under the t-5s soon to be outside so starts the weekend image.jpeggimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Twas a rocky start mate but they are definitely on the go now, carry on doing what YOU are doing, every grow is different, you seem to have found the solution to your problem. They will be boomin in no time! :razz:

Thanks stickman I didn't start correcting the one plant until I seen positive results on the first one so I have one lagging about a week behind the other

Don't follow anything exactly Herk, find out what works best for you. You aren't growing G13 Pineapple Express and no doubt your water source is different to that grower. Use it as a rough guideline at best.

I like to get ideas from the scottyballs thread but I get most of my input from people I rub elbows with like you & anon as we're all doing similar methods & I'm new to the waterfarm/ dwc type grow & stubbed my toe a bit getting started but now I think I've got a veg pattern going now I can turn my attention to getting my room finished mainly insulation & my 8"" exhaust & some intake vents as hot weather is almost on me & I don't run ac. My room is 4x6 room I put together out in my workshop they had no power I've got power now but I'm gonna tap into a stronger breaker in the future so I can run the lights & shop tools at once I like to keep my growth a darker green the pink panties is still trailing the mk bubblegum in overall growth but is taller I hope to get them to the same height before I flip I'm thinking I want to order the r/p grow your own lemon walker for future development image.jpegimage.jpeg

ok not exactly but he gives great tips on using the waterfarm like drilling extra holes in the bottom of the smaller bucket and upgrading the airpump etc also only using floranova bloom simplifies everything when you are trying to find out what is going wrong. one of his best tips is to use your ec meter to see what the plant wants if you feed it and the water level drops but the ec is the same only top up with water and visa versa, his results speak for themselves

we are all learning how to do this best i was only trying to share some pointers, good luck with the rest of the grow they seem to be doing better already

Some of scottyballs balls stuff is in ppm. Which I followed & others are in ec. Which I'm gonna have to learn to convert to ppm. Scottyballs is the reason I bought a waterfarm your advice is appreciated too bad scottyballs hasn't been around in awhile his method has a simplicity to it & it would be nice if he was here to ask advice from

I did some work to my room last night & had a little mishap that resulted in the lens falling out of my reflector & landed on the PINKPANTIES she is having a tough time I got an 8" exhaust fan in place & added insulation to the outside wall next I'm gonna install 2 intake vents on the shady side of the shop slowly but surely I'm getting it there image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

It's funny how many people have stumbled upon scottyballz grow! That was why I grew Original Amnesia like I did, with flora nova bloom and scrog, it was actually supposed to be g13's pineapple express but i lost PE to root rot so i went with amnesia as a backup.

I have some attitude freebies I need to go through you actually gave me the link when I was inquiring about the waterfarm you & stickman give me a lot of my useful stuff as you're working examples of growing this way the gh- waterfarm differs slightly from your setup the principal is close enough that what works for you will also work I my case I think a lot of my problems are from the gh feed schedule that I've used for a long time in e&f but I've discovered it's too hot for smaller plants in the waterfarm which forces me to unlearn what used to work in e&f anyway there is a learning curve & I think I'm starting to grasp it next grow I'll try a few mods but for now I'm happy to get this thing programming with a little help it's gonna happen

She's bouncing back from the last topping which she doesn't like but it's necessary to fill my screen my tomato plant in the homemade unit is hanging in there & soon to go outside I think there is a strong possibility I might end up with a single plant grow if the pink panties doesn't recover in the upcoming week or 2 as the mk- bubblegum is outgrown it to the point catch up might not happen doing away with the panties would allow me to have the extra waterfarm to veg my next grow under the t-5 light while whatever is in my room finishes off image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpegimage.jpeg

Oh yeah thats right!
Yeah with the roots just sitting in the nutrient solution things happen fast and the roots are constantly being supplied those nutes so they don't need as much as other growing methods. I'd just keep the EC real low for awhile and let her recover.

I'm getting some new top growth that's a lighter green in color so at least now I have an indicator some of my older growth is showing a slight nitrogen burn so I know my nutes were a bit heavy I've researched the soul synthetics nutes a bit & the ratios of NPK are lower than the floranova but the other good stuff like alfalfa extract,worm casings ,kelp extract ,humid acid & a gang of other stuff is higher at some point I would like to add it to my schedule pink panties is showing that recovery is starting image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg
