I have a couple TH Seeds strains from Attitude freebies and no real desire to pop them either.I don't mind dudes podcast but I don't think I'll ever grow his beans. I got a bunch of their stuff from the 'tude as freebies, too much, last couple orders I asked them to switch em for other reg seeds, of course they wouldn't so I'm left with like 6-8 of each strain. Maybe they will go outdoor, but I doubt I will even bother with that from what I have read. He certainly learned the dutch style by the sounds of it lol, he's always going on about his days in Holland.
It's kind of funny to read the part of the underdog story and he was given the wrong cut "to see what he'd do with it".
Yesterday I finally received a reply back from TH Seeds.
It is a very mediocre and frustrating response which says that they are unwilling to refund or replace the seeds. So, incredibly slow response time (almost two weeks) and no help at all.
I am a little surprised that they are not willing to stand up for their product. Regretfully, I will not be buying any TH Seeds products in the future, which is disappointing because I like their product range and they have won a lot of awards, which for a buyer is very enticing.
But because I have spend money on 10 seeds which did not germinate and I have not received any help from them to rectify the situation then I have no other option than to avoid purchasing from them in the future.
Buyer beware when purchasing seeds from this company.
It's as if they are unaware of Google and how people research stains. I know they have some good gear, but these stories and my experience really cement my position not to waste time on any of their gear. Thanks for the heads up. Hearing experiences like yours is a real factor for me when it comes to buying seeds.
I don't understand why TH Seeds would take this approach? Honestly, what would a package of replacement seeds cost them? The postage to send them to you would be the most expensive part. I get that they can't go replacing every single persons seeds that fucks up germination, but the bad rap that will spread from this kind of experience will cost them a hell of a lot more money than replacing a few packs of seeds along the way
Yep. As growers we really only care about 2 things concerning seed companies. Genetics, and customer service......and maybe to a lesser extent what kind of person/company are we supporting with our purchases. I've heard a lot of comments about them losing a bunch of their old genetics, and the new stuff isn't as good. Now to hear that they take forever to get back to you on an issue, and then when they do they're unwilling to help. Makes the decision to pass them over an easy oneIt's as if they are unaware of Google and how people research stains. You've hit the nail on the head there. All they had to do was get back to me in a reasonable amount of time, and be remotely helpful in resolving my issue and I would have probably bought from them again and told everyone about a positive experience instead of a negative one. Thanks for the heads up. Surely you've come across poor bean stock at some point. While some people obviously make mistakes with germination, how I'm not quite sure as it is pretty straight forward, sometimes the stock is simply old. When I had one of seven China Yunnan beans pop, I simply wrote a polite email, explaining the situation, and Ace stepped up big time. They said that stock was older that they had on hand, and offered to replace it with whatever I'd like. On top of such an offer, they sent me a ten pack over my original order of a 5 pack (actually seven as they seem to package their beans with extras). Now that is some customer service!damn man that sucks alot, if the seeds where immature they should have replaced them maybe in the future if this ever happens again take sum pics of that shit i had sum good luck with there seeds im growing a freebe bubblegum now and there ultra sour is fire, im not takeing up for them but you know how many people fuck up there beans and then try to get the breeder to replace them its sounds crazy but people do it all the time, if you had pics of them being small and green i feel like your odds of getting them replaced a little better, i wish they would have replaced them for you, but my th grows have all been good, the sage n sour was good smoke to
