I ordered a 400w hps grow light from htg supply on friday, received it today.

included with my light was a letter stating they were out of stock for my light kit and upgraded it to an AgroMax kit.

cant go wrong with a $167 system that has received a free $70 upgrade.

htg gets my vote/support/money

yah, i have been more than happy with htg supply myself. never got a nice upgrade like that, just great service and extremely fast shipping..

Did you get the digital ballast???
Because they did the same thing to me when I bought my 600 the only thing is.....
THE ARGOMAX BULBS ARE NOT COMPADABLE WITH THOSE BALLST!
So if it blows out in a week, ya know why.

Not trying to bash them at all just wanted to let you know.
After I had two blow out they sent me three sunmasters for all the problems.
Great customer service, if you can get someone one the phone.

i have been thinking about picking up some equipment from htg for quite some time i just havent heard too much about them. i wanted to see some good feedback first. plus i dont know where to have the shit mailed too. ( definitely not my grow house)

I ordered a 600 watt digital ballast on 1/17/10. Still nothing. I called them last week on Friday and they said they were out of stock but would upgrade my shipping to 2day shipping. They said they should have it today or tomorrow.

their shipping is very discreet, plain brown box with the return address being "Tony". i hope the light doesnt blow out within a week, the ballast their gave me is an AgroMax ballast as well, so hopefully it wont. i think its magnetic, can hear slight buzzing. if it does blow, the good news is that they supply you with a 1 year bulb warranty, but i would rather avoid that whole endeavor. i wonder if i said it blew, and they shipping a new one out to me, if i could just store it to use after this one dies.

If you got a magnetic ballast you should be all good.

They can be kinda slow on there shipping. I took over two weeks for me to get my order.
