2000kwh a month is not even remotely suspicious.

Purposely running up you bill to cover that is just dumb. no offense.

Contrary to what it may appear in reading this forum frequently, most people do not grow marijuana in their homes. I'd bet computer geeks and hard core "gamers" use substantially more power in a month than a small-medium sized grower. Not to mention people who work from home, guys with workshops, people with aquariums, inefficient HVAC, medical equipment, large appliances etc...

Again. The police don't just randomly choose a person and start investigating them. Something started the ball rolling. Keep your mouth shut, spend the cash to make sure you have a quality ventilation/filtration system and don't advertise. Keep your "420" shirt in the drawer.

I agree with MYOB as long as you not stealing power and paying your bill the electric company is not your first worry. Not to say that its not a concern but it's definitely not top of the list. I've always been skeptic of purchasing equipment offline myself but again not top of the list when it comes to my main concerns. If your growing with cfl's you'll be fine if you keep it to yourself anyway. HID's on the other hand give off enough heat to asrise suspension through thermal imaging technology and give the impression of a major op. Either way like Sir420 said just dont get to COMFORTABLE stay on high alert whether you got a card or not FEDS dont care locals dont either and everything in between.
