thc in trichomes

hey all,

is there thc in the actual trics and if so why aren't the little sugar leaves that are so nicely covered in beautiful trics as good to smoke as the buds.

Hahaha, yes, thc are in the trichromes. People used to smoke the leaves back in the 70's, they aren't potent, they dry to quickly, they can't be cured due to them just shrivling up while drying, they would burn way to hot for anyone to smoke regularily. People freeze their stems and leafs then break it up over a silk cloth to get the trichromes from the plant. You can also do this with bubble bags.
 
And the taste is pretty damn harsh :D But sure u can smoke em and catch a buzz if u want :D And btw people do still smoke em where weed is hard to get

Heck ya. I put them little bud blades in the grinder with the bud to add just a little bulk to it. I dont make hash and theres too many trichs on them little blades to waste.
 
in general, bud wasn't trimmed in the 70's or before. some "NANCY" came up with that bright idea! so yea, some of us older heads still smoke leaves....peace
 
In my experience they wee leaves off the bud will get you wrecked and ive even had some tasting a bit like the bud but i wouldnt dare do it unless i was out of bud n they leaves were coated head to toe in crystals lol. They leaves will be better than some bud you get and defo better than that horrid soap bar hash.

yeah make some kind of hash with them. i make ice water hash with my fan leaves/trim/stems. use every single part of the plant man, waste not want not.
 
I use the trim for butter but when I first started with small lights I would smoke the sugar leaves not the fans. It's harsh but does the job when you have nothing. I haven't been out for a years so I just make the butter and bubble hash.
