. I presume your gonna decarb a bit more...I took some when I uploaded the pic and I feel great(in best tony the tiger impression)

just took 1.2 grams worth in 2 pills, hopefully it kicks my ass otherwise back to the drawing board.

Mokuro, maybe you did not extract long enough with good enough material, and then did not decarb properly.

Any of ya'll get high?

Decarbed for more 45min, and then discovered that it was already over-decarbed, the caps went even worst. Next time i'll not decarb that much when using brick weed, this was the main problem.

2Kushed, it was properly extracted, and with enought material yes, the problem was the decarb, i over-proccessed it.

Guys, got a method to decarbonization on another forum, that can be more exact if it's decarbed or not, this solve my problem about using brick weed/shwag:

instead decarb it on oven or stuff, decarb it on a double bath with Oil (because oil can go at higher temperature than water w/o boil):

need:
eletric crockpot like a fondue
veggie oil
stainless steel cup
termomether

Put the stainless steel cup in the crockpot, fill the crockpot w/ oil ultil it's above level in cup that your canna-oil is going to be at.
Turn the crockpot onn, and w/ thermometer make sure it's 240-250F, put the canna-oil inside the stainless cup and put it in the pot when the temperature is reached.
It will heat up to decarb temp fairly quickly and you can see Bubbles start forming (decarbonizating).
When the bubbles stop forming, it's properly decarbed. More Heat will only degradate the thc.

Going use this method on my next try, probably next month when i get more weeds, i'll post the results on this same topic.

Edit: this method can be used only if you make a quick wash to extract and put it on oil, and decarb only the oil after the alcohol is evaporated, instead decarbing it before quick wash

How do you decarb before use your method of hexane/saline stuff?

Put my bud on a casserole dish like those big glass ones let the bud sit until you can powder it by squeezing it,put cheesecloth over it if your house is dirty or hairy...the hexane saline wash is kind of unnecessary its just how you get the most pristine absolute vs oleoresin, winterization is necessary though

just let it dry on time is enought to convert all the thca into thc? not sure about this...

also, if you going to put it into capsules, what is the reason to make a QWISO and then winterize on eth? why not just QWET it? sounds more complicated than it should be, but i might try it yes, going try different ways till i get the best one

A qwet is the most impure extraction you can do excep for a long washed qwiso. Winterizimg removes all the fats and wax

Well incase you missed it. The carboxyl groups chain is broken with the release of h2o, even if you add moisture back to the bud it won't form the chain again... As I've stated multiple times at no point do I use heat in my extracts

having a laser thermometer, doing several freezes and heating up then testing by taking one capsule or two, is very effective. I used straight hash, 6 grams to 2.5 tsp of coconut oil with the same amount of lecithin that was in kats recipe. I am very stoned right now. took a lot of tinkering around with it but I believe in doing longer processing to truly emulsify it quicker... god Im stoned....


um........................... I'm going to make a mini batch of ghee vs coconut oil to see if my digestive system reacts better to ghee high wise... will get back to you guys, making ghee now.

So what do you think of lecethin, I've tried the pills with and without and don't notice much difference?

On a side note I always get super baked just making the pills and getting it on my hands

I think lecithin is a great tool, I think the goal is to not use that much, use exactly as much as kat uses in her hash cap recipe, and do atleast 3 freeze heat cycles unless you're using a motar and pestle to grind the glandular material into the oil.


I think the lecithin needs to be in the proper quantities, as well as given enough time to truly process in, I took several pictures of my oil after each freeze and heat, and you see more of the lecithin powder literally dissapear each run.

Guys i made a new batch this weekend (friday was holiday here on brazil), Did the double bath method w/ oil, till the bubles stopped.
My friend got me caps nº00 and we took one each.
Afeter 1hour I was amazing high and happy because it worked, not so long after, the high became to be uncontrollable, i decided to go sleep. On the mid of the night (or just minutes later? idk) I woke up and feel the hurry to go bathroom to threw up, could not reach it and threw up at the way there, the high was so strong i could not think or decide anything, then i slept on the floor till this morning
i'm very dizzy/giddy till now, and w/ a fucking headache, could not went to work today and this is bad, going to sleep more and take some headache pills now.
Later i'll mix more coconut oil to my mix and next time i'll stay w/ the nº1 pill (500mg)
I really really really NOT enjoyed this, didn't know it could get this strong
My friend still sleeping, idk if he threw up or stuff, going ask later

Lol well I'm happy it worked for you..so based on these results your first batch was or wasn't decarbed too long?

the previous was decarbed for too long, since i'm using brick weed, god know how long it was oxidating before got into my hands
this time was around 15min~~ at 250F till bubbles stop forming

nice, sounds good, I'd like to hear more details about what you did from start to finish. did you decarb in open air or did you do it in the oil?
