who may have some insight on breeders out there working with high THCV% genetics?
looking forward to the interesting answers... lol

I looked into that. Sounds interesting but there is no way I'm paying $100 a seed and they claim these high levels of THCV but don't have any lab results they've made public to prove it. At least none that I've found. Was just checking dutch passion. THC Victory is called. Pricey
Great answerAfrican sativa's. ACE has an Ethiopian that has a high level of THCV. They list 8 - 12% THC and 2% THCV on their website. But it's likely possible to find higher levels THCV. I've grown it but I haven't had any testing done. Even in a legal state most of the labs only test product from licensed commercial operations. But I'm looking into a couple kits but the $700+ price tag for the ones that can give you percentage numbers beyond merely that it was detected have kept me from doing so.
I will say that the Ethiopian is a different type of high than what many are used to smoking. For 1 it's a sativa and 2 it doesn't have that intense effect immediately from high THC strains. But the low 8 - 12% THC level is misleading. I get very high but I'm still able to do things and it doesn't interrupt my thought process like many strains do. It also seems to help with blood sugar. I'm not a diagnosed diabetic but my blood sugar has always fluctuated rather significantly and I have controlled it with diet and lots of small meals and snacks. The Ethiopian seems to help moderate things. I can go from 7:00am breakfast to 12:00 pm lunch without any need for a snack in between.
Nothing I have observed is scientific and is not any sort of medical findings. But for myself I have found what appears to be benefit from THCV.
There are websites that promote certain strains as having these really high levels of THCV. But none of them offer any lab results so it could be true or it could be false. I don't know either way. But I would be skeptical of any of the claims listing THCV levels above 5 - 6 without a posting of a legitimate lab report.

I'd definitely look into the ACE Ethiopian and other African strains like Durban. Landraces or IBL's. I think that's where you're going to find strains with the highest amounts of THCV.
Unless it's a mistake on their website seeds are $68 US each for the THC Victory. Pretty expensive if that's the price and it's likely just a landrace African sativa bred out a few generations and stabilized somewhat.Great answer
yes I’ve seen THC-victory by Dutch and thought about it, it’s $50 a seed and I think u get 10
I’ve played around with THCV isolate from hemp but have heard it’s a little different as in they synth it in a lab vs extract it pure...
def looking for the morning smoke you speak of above tho
Black beauty alleges to have about 3% THCV, 7% THC and about 1% CBD.who may have some insight on breeders out there working with high THCV% genetics?

I can see what you mean as far as looks thoughUnless it's a mistake on their website seeds are $68 US each for the THC Victory. Pretty expensive if that's the price and it's likely just a landrace African sativa bred out a few generations and stabilized somewhat.
Not that looks mean anything but here's the THC Victory and then an Ethiopian I grew.
Some of the Ethiopian I grew that wasn't the best harvest.
I grew madvillain this year and harvested it Nov 1. It wasn't super frosty but had a very strong structure and was mold resistant. Were growing out a couple of Novarine from Elite seeds in Spain, supposably bred for high thcv yield. Anyone tried these?
Anyone with a smoke experience of a plant which has more thcv than thc?
Sounds like a blast, pretty much exactly what im looking for. Me thinks ill make some clones for outdoor this summer, indoor is great and really the only way to do comercial where im at but personally i absolutely love me some outdoor for personal stash, high, taste and smell is just so different.I grew madvillain this year and harvested it Nov 1. It wasn't super frosty but had a very strong structure and was mold resistant.

A friend grew the same variety in '21 and the lab results are below.

For this assessment, I blazed a joint last night from what was grown in '21 - haven't tried this year's yet but imagine similar results. Smoking it made everything better. The tension in my neck disappeared, as did many uninvited negative thoughts. It brought me back to the now and allowed me to focus on my surroundings - sights, sounds were heightened in a pleasant way. It was a bit of a creeper though. Slept well.
I would highly recommend thcv strains for pain, anxiety and those seeking a positive outlook on life. I'll be consuming it more often.
