i kinda roll the end down to a small point. like a cigar. it helps A LOT to push a wire down the center once done. i use a bong poker. it gives it a tunnel for the smoke to pull thru. you gotta be careful not to poke thru the sides though. or maybe i'm just packing them too tight.
