I'll agree that 12/12 is, and should be the standards, my flowering room never deviates from that, nor should most.you will get less thc, studies in the UK and Amsterdam show that during flowering keep lights at 12/12, if you want maximum thc, the only time you go less then 12/12 is when there in the flush stage or near done......keep them on 24hrs darkness, but other then then 12/12 is what u want
However, it should be noted that some long flowering sativas are widely regarded as best grown indoors under 10/14 light. I've never personally down this, but i've read a fair bit about it and its a pretty accepted practice done by alot of reputable growers.
