I am a relative newbie, I have succesfully completed one hydro grow :
My problem is I have only one grow tent and cannot afford the room to build another area for a mother plant. So I have been looking for a solution to the problem of having only one grow area. I think this way of growing maybe my solution????
I have a couple of 'newb style' questions for the pro's:
1. I assume that once you have completed a few harvests you will have plants in the growing area of all different ages/maturity?
2. What do you do with males? I mean I know you get the fu**ers out but I assume you take the seeds before execution? And then germinate them?
3. Now Im really crap on weights and stuff but I smoke around ten joints a night (I make em up with 3 rizla) half tobacco and half grass, i know this is a bit pie-in-the-sky, but with say ten plants would i be able to sustain that level of smoke?
4. Also just wanted to say that if this does work (which it clearly does for others) this method would save people money on electric/space/nutes/cost of replacement bulbs and of course time.......Sounds bloody good to me

nice looking plant there afghanboy.
Since the lights are 12/12 for all plants youd throw any plant you're going to harvest in your grow area regardless of age and other factors. Just make sure to adjust light levels as needed for each plant.
If you remove the males you will not get any seeds. Males make pollen and females make the seeds when they get pollen on their buds from the males

i have a big problem!!! my babyz are at the end of week 3 i think or around there but there turning yellow and drooping on me heavy! i have the lights around like 2inches away from the plants i feed them everytime there dry plz i need some help i have miracle grow but i put it every other watering not much but i dont see no nute burn so i dont think thats the problem i have 5 23=100 watt cfls ne advices are welcome here are some pikz

just started 6 seeds in germing under my 250watt, think i can fit more? i have the room for more just not sure of the lights. question.... since im skipping veg does that mean i dont need to buy botanicare pro blend grow and i only need the bloom stuff? cause that would save me a ton of money. also how tall should i expect them to get?

To get an accurate diagnosis of your plant we need as much information as possible.
1) PICTURE OF PLANT *** VERY IMPORTANT ***
2) Growing indoor or outdoors
3) Watering schedule
4) Growing Medium
5) What stage of growth
The more information you put in here the better diagnosis you will get.

actually i posted picks and everything that u said in that post uu just did the only thing that i put diffrent or not posted at all is the place that i have them in which is a 5ft by 5 ft and the height is like 7ft and i water them when they are dry like every 3 days i mist them 3 times a day when i water them i use miracle grow every other watering i already showed pikz on the other post so yeah what do u think the light is like 2inches away from my plants

Chaps Im still a little confused about this process. If I have only 1 grow room can I perform this type of grow (12/12)?
I assume I can't do it with one room, but what confuses me is the pollunation process to get seeds. If I have males and fems in my grow room at the same time the males will pollunate the fems? But you need them to pollunate in order to produce new seeds right? But once pollunated the fems cant be harvested right?
So do you have to have two sep rooms?

yep you awbnsered your own question you would need two seperate rooms liik into my journal at my cabinet two of them would work great for this

you can still harvest if the plant gets pollenated...it may be an all seed harvest and might not be as potent but you can still harvest

Hi all! I have my second grow of all time going now. It is my first 12/12 from seed. My plants are 14 days old today. I will try to get some pics to show em off.
My questions is can I LST these plants? My first grow I used LST and if you take a look at my journal in my signature you can see she turned into a BUSH! So i was hoping I could LST the 12/12 from seed plants as well.

are your plants able to drain some water out of the bottom of those cups. AfghanBoy, why not just run a single cabinet on 12/12 all the time and take cuttings to keep your perpetual harvest ticking over? Might be simpler than making seeds etc and to be honest the beauty of a perpetual 12/12 cycle is the ability to grow multiple strains in a single cabinet as said above. Just a thought?
Anyway, my 12/12 grower friends
here are my Northern Lights once again, today at day 39 from germination and begining to bud up now. Next 5/6 weeks should see them do well I think.Coming next: 'Blue Widow' by Dinafem seeds. F1 hybrid of White Widow & Blueberry
