The Govt needs to give the soldiers a major raise. By like 500%. $800 a month isn't enough for them to destroy their knees, eyes, and lungs. That's just from training. That doesn't even count going to war and being shot at or getting injured or ptsd. Shit regular police make 4 -5 times more money than marines do. I think we should switch that pay around.

That's even worse. My cousin got out a little early, last Christmas via v.e.r.p.

But him and everyone in his unit are physically done. He only went over seas once. Spent 9 months in Afghanistan. He was a anti tank missile gunner. He got promoted to sergeant just before he got out.
