cmh growers are the chilled out dudes over in the corner just doing their thing...they arent crazy enough to fight about it, they just wanna grow bro
Which spectrum king led there are more then one and it's not that hard to get 2lb with 600w that what like 1.5 gpw

Not that hard when you have NL5xhaze dailed in and on a vertical system.
Had pics posted on CC before it got shut down, wish I still had pictures.
As for now I'm just pheno hunting using the SOG method.
Go check out the vertical section, the numbers might just blow your mind.
And CC might give you an indication on time, I never said at this very moment I'm running a vert system, all I said was I am able to pull that off with a 600w. Just like when you learn how to ride a bike, you never forget how to use next time.

ran the 1st gen 400 leds.
I mean NL5haze is a big ass yielder and with the right pheno dailed in on a vertical system, it could be pushed to the limit.

Anybody ever talks poo about CMH, so help me, I will call them names.
So for veg which is better? CMH OR LED?
serious question because Im thinking about switching from MH for veg. I find MH a bit inefficient.

That is dependent on how and where for me.
Climate in my region often dictates lighting choice. I have one, truly seasonally stable environment that I veg in, that one has DIY LED always.

Ya I got too much love for my 315 to ever be negative towards cmh. I'll be honest tho, I also love my 600w hps and my 1440w of leds. They all have a special place in my heart and also in my garden depending on time of the year lol
I can't pick a side to save my life lol

I have to disagree that they hate each other.
I was in several competitions with LED and HPS growers and all of the LED and HPS growers that made it to harvest got along for the most part, quite well.
Maybe someone in those comps might disagree but I felt in both the solo cup comps and the comp that was free style where both types of lights were allowed everyone got along well.
Plus in the last comp the most beautiful canopy IMO was grown by @The Big Perm (banished Member) who used LED strip lighting.
If you want to see real fighting watch the next LED only solo cup comp.
I think that comp is over though.
I embarrassed them with the healthiest plant in the comp with my 1st LED grow even if it did have a few LED deficiencies, but that comp isn't about healthy plants it's about massive plants that crush gram per watt stats.

John did a test hps vs led vs CMH. The CMH only one that had increased in thc. It was a noticable difference. I never bothered as they only came at the time in 400 watt and I didn't want to buy x amount of those when I can just get x amount of 1000s. They may come in 1000 watt now.
