Hey brother ! I think that the guy really tried to help all he could but the thread just became a magnet of people looking for someone to build and maintain their gardens for them. Did you read some of the questions that were being posted.
COMMON!!! LOL Anyway he has such a big heart and he has shit loads of patience way more than I and it worked him over. He will be back i think but not as a moderator of his own thread again. LOL
I just started a new set last night so we shall see. I realized my mistakes of not cleaning the thing well from last time so that being done we should have no problems with this set.

welp, soon as I'm done with this 2 gram jay (with a thread of hash from end to end) and this half litre of coffee, I'm back on the track. I'm usually up at 4, it's almost 9, been a bit productive this AM. Got to get a tray cleared in the next few days to put in the next tray of clones. Work, work, work.
I hate manicuring, but I hate it more when I don't actually need to harvest, plenty of buds in the stash box at the mo. But you know wot? If you wanna quit your day job, right-now availability is better than conoissewer quality.

You know, without waving my wedding tackle around too much, I'm too popular for my own good. Get A Harvest Every 2 Weeks wound up being a deluge and so has FAQt in recent weeks. FAQt has climbed from 350 reads/day to 427/day in less than 5 days in the last week.

Being new and never had to manicure yet i have heard stories about how tedious it can be.
There are a couple of reasons of the size of my room. 1 I have to do all the work myself. 2 and probably the most important one was quality. People don't drive Bently's because they were on sale, they drive them because they are of high quality and not many people have them.
When your reputation out grows your actual product you have arrived...

HMMM i like it !! question though do you WANT your own site or could the higher ups here set you up with a thread that you let people into work? You are right in the fact that you are a true and valuable asset here but wading though all the crap its not worth it. This website is set up i believe to handle that kinda thread. and it would not be elitist, you are correct in wanting to provide quality help without the noise. There are many disciplines here that could benefit from that kinda thread system.

I grew up on a farm and i have a large vegetable garden with about a 3rd of an acre to play with so i have a green thumb . BUT I WOULD NEVER been able to get where i am without this site!!!! HYDRO in any quantity has such a learning curve i would have had my plants die before i knew it just because from lack of knowledge. Before i found this site i almost had bought a bunch of books to start the process of learning it.
SO what was your thoughts on your website / thread idea?

If I put up my own site, it becomes a longish term commitment and an awful lot like work, especially if paid subs are involved. Money changes everything. It becomes a lot harder to be anon if you need to get paid.
If I'm a volunteer contributor to a forum, should I need to shift priorities, I can do the bolt for a week or three and no one's too put out.

Yes Al and Sparkafire, I saw the ridiculous questions (By the way I have some leftover linguine and sauce bolognese from dinner ttonight....Would it be a bad idea if...)LOL is right.
I have a little op I just started myself spark. I have high (lol) hopes of becoming a certified fuct head also. Op is a bit larger than alot I have read about on here, but basically a perpetual harvest SoG that will pull a crop every 19-20 days (3 flower trays instead of 4 like Al=3 harvest/2 months)
2 Rooms-Former Bedrooms with an attached full bath
Veg/Clones/Mothers-Room 1
Veg Area/Mums Area
8x4 tray/70g. res-Ionic Nutes w/ a little magic saucery
1kw MH Hortilux Bulb on 6' light rail
Clone Zone-Off in the corner
Flos for lighting
Large Aerocloner
Flower Room-Room 2
3 -8'x4' Trays/3-70g Resevoirs-Duthmaster Gold-Flower
Each Tray Serviced with:
1kw HPS Hotilux Bulbs on 6' light rails
8"/790 CFM Exhaust w/CAP controller pushes out is scrubbed through 8" Mtn. Air Carbon Filter-10"x20"passive air intake in floor.
All lights air-cooled Sun System Reflectors with Tempered Glass Enclosure
Both rooms climate controlled- 75-76 degrees-lights on, 70-72 degrees dark cycle, 50-55% RH (currently needing to humidify with a humidistat controlled unit to maintain this-will probably need to dehumidify when the rooms are full of plants), lots o' fans-wall mounts, clip-ons, etc.
4 strains (47 plants from 48 seeds) started 2nd week of veg growth on Saturday-all looking good
Started 3 additional strains on same day (36 more beans)
Great seed bank-Of the 36 I started Saturday using the wet paper towel method 30 have already srouted-couple days and i will put them in plugs.
Out of these 80-83 seedlings I hope to be left with 50-60 Mums.
Originally thought 72 plants per tray in the flower room-SoG with a week of veg time on the clones but now i am pushing for no veg time so I can do 120 a pop(3.9/sq.ft) Hoping to cut my first clones in a month or so.
I had been telling Al I will post some pics soon-but the truth of it is my wife left me some time ago and took all our shit-so no camera-old fucks like me hate shopping for that crap. So i got the house my laptop and.....my golf clubs-bitch. I will get one to show off my ladies eventually-or if I run into any nasty problems that warrant photographic evidence then I will surely pick one up. So sorry no canniporn till i brave bestbuy.

Al if you are out there. Got 35% h2o2 today from a local source but can only find 50% strength online unless I have a pharm license for the suppliers around here. But 35% will do with a heavier dosage right. I think I can work out the math if you use 125ml of 50%/265L nute solution.

I owe an awful lot to the early days of cannabis.com and overgrow.com. cannabis.com has become fascist and corporate (censors critique of fake buds as fake buds sellers are among their advertisers) and OG is of course dead due to a conservative govt in Canada, but those two were immensely helpful to me in the early 90s, when I was making the transition from 1970s fluoro/soil oldtech to HID & hydroponics. You better believe that among the very first things I searched for on that newfangled internet thingo (with my hotshit 4MHZ IBMPC & 1200 baud modem, an upgrade from the VIC-20 & 300 baud modem) was cannabis growing info.
