Do you have a light meter? You can check the lights and see the difference. If not you can get one of those cheap multi meters for under $15. I have one, and you can check how your lighting is and get a good idea where the need to be.

thanks a bunch, I can't wait to begin taking step by step pictures of the construction of the new setup, I'm doing some diagrams of the inside now, and my planned lighting setup, As of now , I've got a 2/3's devoted to vegging , and the 1/3 area for flowering. I'm working on a Top down view of the room right now, I'll post it soon, I'm trying to plan for shelves that can be moved up and down to provide overall more space. I'll try to add to the diagram my lighting plan.

oo where could I pick up a light meter that'd help a BUNCH

Just get something like this. You can get one at walmart, homedepot, lowes places like that or get this one on Ebay. It's cheaper than any local place would be. The only good thing on it is the light meter though. I just took it outside on a sunny day and then compare it to my lighting.
