The Bakery - OG Everything perpetual

Hey Rollies, morning bump. just checked the clones they are doing good no wilting. Temp in room without a/c right now are at 80. bringng them down to 75. Humidity and temp in the dome are 80F and 51%. I had an accident last night hanging a light and took out the Platinum from the bottom of the stalk and had to clone the entire plant (how ironic :( ) All the plants are loving the Co2 and more nodes are starting to show up on the ladies after one day of nutes well I'm goin back to bed lol. Happy growin!

Not half but the whole thing
Peace n Love

How old are your clones also how long did it take them to root and what do you use for rooting them, do you find the dome is neccesairy? Thanks

Doc

Hey Doc the cones are about 2 days old. The babies that are in the cups are about 2 weeks from rooting. It usually takes about a week to a week and a half for roots to start showing.

I clone in rockwool cubes. I soak my cubes in 5.5 PH solution of BioRoot by GeneralOrganics, then I cut the clone i want making sure there are 3 nodes on it at a diagonal angle and then use clonex to dip the cuttings in. I'm using clonex and Azoz Nitrogen fixing compound. You want to make sure the cutting is hugged by the rockwool so you might want to pre-poke your cubes so you can sit your cuts in it snuggly.

Yes you NEED the propogation dome. Its needed to keep the humidity up in the enviroment. Without it you will not clone successfully 80% of the time.

So once you have your cuts in the rockwool you then want to place them in the dome and spray with a 6.5Ph Solution. I use compost tea and BioRoot for about a week 2 to 3 times a day. Then you will notice the roots starting to come. Your job isn't done..

To feed them you can do a number of different things one of the easiest i've seen is to get 2 trays and poke holes in one of them at the bottom to let the nutes in. So you fill the other with the nutrients and then dip and rise the tray until the cubes are soaked. You can use a gentle nutrient like a 1.1.1, RootsExcelerator, GreatWhite, RapidStart, Root66 and a number of beneficial nutirents.

Another way is to get cups and cut them about 2 inches from the bottom so its like little trays and fill that up with the nutrients and let the clone sit in the solution the roots will take that in and you don't have to worry about air pruning.

Hope this helped bro.

a little update the ladies are dong good I gave them a full feeding today and fed the mother wth just Sledgehammer, Hygrozyme & BioThrive. and the rest with the GO line for veg and some sledgehammer and compost tea.

The clones are still looking good sitting up high only 1 or 2 are wilting. I sprayed with the compost tea today and I've heard it does wonders. Anyways thanks for stopping by happy growin!!

Nice post man, i've done couple clones myself and now i have 9/12 rooted in 13 days and i just put 7 of them under the 400 watter 24/7, i'll keep them like that for a week maybe two til they make a decent root system within the medium. I use rockwool too, saturate the cubes then take my cuttings the same way you explained it exept i dont use folliar spray i just use b-52 in the water i feed them when it gets low, this was my first attempt at cloning and i did well for the first time i reckon, just nervous about all of it though. Time for a nice fat bowl topped with wax. Peace bro!

Good Morning Rollies. Late night for me but I slept with the wife for a little bit. Anyhow I ran the lights and fan to get the amperage/kwh/watts used in the room to estimate the bill I'm satisfied hopefully it is within that range. The temp with the light on and only one inline fan was at 88 and a subtle change was noticed once the fan kicked off as opposed to when it was off but in the least its not enough.

I do not want to depend on my air condtioner to keep the room cold on an hourly basis. I understand that there will be periods that I do infact need it and that it will come into play like these past few days. All in all I want the A/C to be a bonus not a necessity.

So the plan is to get the 430CFM Oracle Garden In-line fan I have and put that in the bakery and see the change. I think it will make a big difference but the a/c will have to be turned on for at least 30 minutes more than a couple times a day just to get some cold air flowing. I do have a bad ass fan that might make a difference and getting more 16" mounted fans on a diy mountng board in a couple weeks.

as for the oven I'm still looking for a decent 6 bulb T5 or 4 bulb even. 2ft is ok but I really want the 4ft anyways everything else is running like clock work the leaves are really lush and green getting fat on the plants directly under the c02 im going to drill so the bag can hang over all the plants evenly. I have a fan blowing the air even though I don't need to because co2 is heavier than oxygen so it naturally floats down. the 2 skywalkers closes to the oscillating fan stalks are getting thick so i'm thinking bout running a switch until i get another in there. Getting the drip tubes and stuff ready need to make a run to a wharehouse for bungies and a few other things ducting and such. The electrician comes today so I'll transplant either late tonight or tomorrow morning. Um.............Yeah I think thats all. I got some bomb ass Platinum Kush right now yummmm anyways have a good one guys peace!!!!

Got some new bills in the mail, got some big favours I owe

Heres a minor update week 1.5

lets start with the babies then move to the bakery i transplanted and moved all the teens to the bakery and transplanted the outstanding fire og that grew 5 inches within the last 4 days into a 10 gal bag to keep as the mother. the mom I had is being flowered as a result.

ok heres pics

Heres the Fire OG I transplanted doing outstanding as I said. I'm amazed it rooted the cup in 4 days and keeps getting bigger It was already touching the light I had to move it and I chose to keep it as a mom.

IMG00407-20110901-1431.jpg

The nodes where popping up daily if not every 8 hours i checked it.

IMG00408-20110901-1431.jpg

The two Diamonds. They are also popping nodes and hairs like crazy but are shorter.

IMG00425-20110901-1433.jpg

Ok onto The Bakery. The plants where transplanted and moved into the tent and are so far doing good. One thing that Im kind of scared of is PM. I'm going to do a spray before the lights turn off tonight and hopefully detour the problem before it gets serious I'm going to do some reading on it to see if thats it for sure or if its dust from removing the in-line fan...anyways enough words moar pics

Thanks Dub B & Steez. Cant' wait to see those run and I was serious earlier bro lol. That shit sounds massive. I put in alot of work today Im like 95% done with everything that I need to be done with. Pics tomorrow. Only project left is to make a passive intake system to draw air form outside into the garage containing the grow rooms to keep fresh air circulating. Im going to drill holes in the roof and pull ducting through a series of filters then into the garage from above.

Alright heres some more pics this one is from the 29th

hey flip looks like you got thing all dailed in! nice looking nugs to il hang around for this one flip, you got any question just hit
me up and if I see something il hit you up

I got a question, I'm currently growing some plants in my veg room to turn into moms.
Do you want to top/ FIM or anything when it comes to this, so you can make more clones?
Or should I let them do their thing?

mos def top for your moms the more branches the better. LST and topping for moms is what I would do if I was growing from seed. Topping is enough for clones though the plant will get bushy as hell. I just topped all the babies on the top shelf. I topped my lost coast like 3 days ago let me check my journal and take a pic brb

ok yeah i topped it 3 days ago and today i topped the rest of them here are pics of the topped ones today and the lost og

You made me re-think of topping clones.. i think i'll try it out too, or even i'll compare 2 ak-47 clones side by side topped and non topped see them side by side on the scale, and this stuff is starting to look real nice man.. Keep it up bro!!
