I'm close to pulling the trigger on this:Any decent deals on any 800-1000w lights? Looking for something with LM301H evo diodes. (Alibaba is showing 6-8 week delivery times)
I ran their m400 for a couple of years and have zero complaints.I'm close to pulling the trigger on this:
AGLEX 1000W LED Grow Lights, Full Spectrum Grow Light with UV IR, Daisy Chain Plant Bar Style Grow Light Foldable & Dimmable for Indoor Growing Commercial Hydroponic Growing Lamp 6x6ft Core Coverage

I've got that exact light arriving tomorrow. Been also chatting with them on alibaba and have been having a hell of a run around regarding diodes.I'm close to pulling the trigger on this:

Any closer than 6” tends to burn even if par is the same. I figure it has something to do with ir or uv . 24” is my sweet spot.I've got that exact light arriving tomorrow. Been also chatting with them on alibaba and have been having a hell of a run around regarding diodes.
From what I can tell there are 3 versions of the M1000.
Version A uses San'an 3030 led; 288pcs led per bar
Version B uses San'an 3030 leds as well; 340pcs leds per bar
Version C uses Samsung + Osram; 360pcs leds per bar
But I've had a rep tell me on more than one occasion that the version with 3400 leds are using LM281B's which doesn't match with the info I've found online. So we shall see lol
They did quote me on alibaba $345 shipped from their US warehouse, which is quite a bit cheaper than the $440 + tax I paid on Amazon.

These scummy light companies always exaggerating wattage to deceive consumers.
Yep - the “ all beef “ PAR chart is a damn lie. These scummy light companies always exaggerating wattage to deceive consumers.
With the recommended wattage per sq ft by multiplying the width and length that gives you your sq ft but I have only 1.5mtrs headroom and thats reduced 10inchs with fabric pots and 8inchs lost with the led hanging. Apologise in advance if this is obvious or I'm not getting it.. im terrible at maths..im very good at building thoughIdeally, with LEDs you'll have up to 40w/sqft when the dimmer is at 100%. At least 30w/sqft is advisable. That puts you in the range of 750w to 1000w pulling from the wall to effectively cover a 5x5 grow. It's best to spread the power density out over the canopy as evenly as possible. Bar-style lights have a better spread than QB-style.
Good luck!
