The best light for veg

Greetings Roll it up I am currently in the market for a light that I can mother a few plants off of. Hopefully also for clones to get big enough for the flower chamber. I have been looking at 4 and 6 build T5's on Amazon, wondering if that will do.. Will be running 5-10 plants in veg thats including the mothers total, then 600w HPS for flower. Looking forward to what everybody has to say.

I'd say T5's if they aren't too huge bigger moms and if your veggin with them (same room) then I'd go with a 400w MH somethin to get good coverage and not too high as far as Elec is involved My two cents. (Personally I use a Potato )

I would recommend T-5's even though I'm vegging under a 600w hps now. However, I started the seeds off under a T-5 strip and they loved it. Ever since I moved them under the 600w they've been alright. I just think at their age they definitely respond to T-5's better. I want to get a larger T-5 setup and put them under that. I just don't know if it would be a bad thing to switch up their lighting.
