how about put the bowl into water and boil it? it get everything out oplus steralizes it so u get that fresh taste everytime u hit

ya, boiling it is like the heavy duty last resort that everyone can rely on. it just takes a while.

you people dont get it or you missed my post...boiling is messy and not very efficient

oh yeah i forgot to add when you do the actetone or iso wash filter the liquid before you pour it onto the pyrex...do not use foam with the acetone itll be messier than the microwave trick

sort of off subject i know but where possible never micro waver (or anything else where possible) because it quite litterly kills it

ok so after reading some of the peoples posts i have tried to clean my bowl and have found a safe and very good way to clean bowls.
step 1: scape the bowl with a knife.
step 2: get pipe cleaner the ones from craft boxes any color will do.
step 3: fill sink with hot water and shake the bowl really good.(this gets it clean for a quick wash)
step 4: this is for getting it really clean, get a plastic bag one that zips and fill with nailpolish remover or rubbing alcahol both are cheap and have around the house, with this bag of liquid add normal salt zip the bag and shake.
step 5: add your bowl and shake a little but for best results leave hung up over night.
step 6: dont smoke it after you take it out get a pot on the stove and heat water to almost a boil with a strainer on top of it so that your bowl can be submerged in the water
let this cook for a good 10 minutes and take it out with tongs so you dont get burned.(do not put in cold water)
step 7: let this sit out on a paper towl and allow it to cool.
now that this is done your bowl is nice and clear and ready to go this will also make it so you can get caught and not have to worry it looks and smells like new.
have fun smoking and wait for the day when in the united states you can walk down the road smoking a bowl. i love weed.

do not use nail polish remover, molecules can retain to the sides of the pipe and will be absorbed into your body

Microwave water, stuff pipe with oxyclean...drop pipe in water....bubble bubble. Let it soak, then get the cutip and rinse it out.

I use a 50% solution of water and simple green concentrate. The simple green is non-toxic and biodegradable. A gallon jug cost like 7 bucks and last for 6 months or more. Use it a a lower concentration for your countertops, windows, sinks - Worked at a pizza place where we cleaned the fryers with the stuff. I asked the other guys if the had ever heard of using it for pipe cleaning and they hadn't. Am I the only one?

i just use the 420 cleaner after it goes through my bong.
or grunge off, just drop it in there, come back 15 min, crystal clear, and can be reused multiple times.

dont use this shit, it can be very dangerous to your health even after rinsing. instead invest your money in reusable Grunge Off, which is a glass pipe cleaner. works charms. just be careful your pieces get slippery.

that gunge shit is good, my friend got some free with when he bought his expensive sheldon black bong. I use sea salt + 90% rubbing alcohol, makes em brand new. I keep my pipes very clean
