So here's a few pictures. The first one is the early warning signs of high salt content in the soil. So I have to wait and see if it's from before I did my leach or because of something just done. Either way easy fix water water water. No need to panic when things start to go wrong. Often people will add more fert and that's when things get tough. These are doing well so far

Guns are too bulky! This is Canada hand guns are too hard to get s permit for. I carry bear spray and have 3 dogs plus a radio if anything happens.
The main thing is not being too quiet. I spooked a black bear {down here in NW Florida} one time sneaking into my patch. She had a cub, and didn't like getting surprised. She beat the ground in a palmetto thicket to make it sound like there was a bunch of folks rushing me. I took off running, pulling a hamstring, and leaving my rifle propped up against a tree. When I could run no more, I stopped. She did the slapping the palmettos again, and that time I got a whiff of her smell. I was so happy it was a bear {and not people}, I wasn't even mad about hobbling the mile back to my truck.

I just read through your thread. Sorry you have had so much drama. Hope you are able to finish the season without any fireworks.

Your plants are looking great.

And I have never known rich folks who thought they were rich enough. Just saying as it gets closer to harvest, I would be watching that partner all the closer.

That's a crazy bear story for sure! I have a few myself. A cougar one with a video!! That old man now has a white fly infestation. I understand everyone's concern but I have a family member that's going to stay at the site come harvest. He's too old to try anything.

We have very few cougar {or panther} in north Florida. More in south Florida.

White fly's huh? If a fellow was given to quoting the bible, he might say " for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap". Or you could just say the fucker is getting what he deserves. Just hope they don't get over on your part of the GH's.

I was thinking having someone there all the time would be a smart move. That is going to be one big harvest.

I know how to kill the white flies however I will not be passing on that info. But for the rest of you H202 in a strong mix of 4 parts water to one part h2o2. Spray on leaves and water plants with it one time. I hope it's a good year so far weather has been aweful. Do you guys grow year round in Florida?

Not as much up here in North Florida. But I am going to try a Spring crop for the first time. And lots of folks in South Florida find the summers are just too much trouble, and do a Spring crop, then a Fall/Winter crop.

I often give it to my plants with water several times of year. Kills any issues in the root zone and give them extra oxygen. If you have mold on any stems it kills that as well. It's a great product
So so use a 1/4 gallon to every gallon? That's a shit ton of peroxide lol I feed my girl 30 gallons every 3 days. So I need roughly 8 gallons on one feeding? Not including the spay?
