I'm using nectar for the gods and I think that clawing/tip burn/chlorosis is because of underwatering. I am having one hell of a time keeping up with them and just in case I'm going to back off nutrients this whole week until I see a little of a deficiency, and then I'll start feeding again

I got the sample kit of NFTG for 40$, it is working well but is a pain to mix 7 bottles of crap into water. Next run I am trying something different, just to make life easier.

I am also considering an auto watering kit of some sort. Still haven't decided on it

So it seems it is a sativa hybrid, but still gives that couch lock. So when you did wait longer, you did get the true effect it is supposed to give

perhaps if you're falling behind on weight, set up an extra chamber for these next few weeks to kick off some new seeds, that way you are further ahead for the next op

Yeah i did all that research over a year ago and thought i would give it a try. Some how one plant got stressed and produced a few seeds and i used them. My people ended up loving the strain so i purposely stressed one in a closet to get more seeds and it worked. Thats how i got over a 1000 seeds of feminized ak.

I would expect if they are prone to hermaphroditing, you may want to be careful getting later into flower is typically when you see it happen to plants that hermi easily

No... lol ... You didnt do any training at all .. those are single colas ... and not much else ? And you expected 3 per light ?

I harvested over 4 lbs under (6) 315 cmhs ... so 1890 watts ... if I would have just let them single cola up ... I would have maybe cleared 3/4 of a pound ? if that ?


7 Plants .. . 2 on the end in 5 gallons, the other 5 .. were 3 gallons untill week 3 of flower in which we up-potted them to 7's. All fox farms happy frog with NFTG nutrients.

I super cropped, I topped, and I super cropped some more ... if you want the weight .. you need to let them finish first off, you are harvesting way to early .. and you need to train train and train some more.


Also .. this was day 56 ... I let them all go another 11 days.

I thought the something at first but i had the seeds and used them and have had zero problems for almost a year now. 4 grows now and i think i have found less then 10 seeds. A few times we lost power or the timer would go bad or bulb blow and mess with the light cycle. But the % is minimal so in my opinion its worth the risk

That is great man, I've always wanted to cross some strains. Glad you had a good experience selfing those plants, the buds look great. I would love to see the bud develop over the next few weeks

if you want to switch to led, the reason I would do it is if I am combating heat. Maybe instead of switching everything right to LED try replacing 10% of your light with led or something, and go from there and see how it effects your environment.

If heat wasn't an issue I would be using HPS or CMH

No i said 3 lights and only getting 1lb per light. I have never lst and am super worried i would mess my shit up

why transplant at week 3 of flower? I would only do this to help with watering, as I always thought roots really stopped growing at week 2-3 of flower and the energy of the plant goes into budding primarily

plants look super tasty man GJ

Well i was also going by what the loop was saying. A few guys straightened that up for me about waiting another 3 weeks and i am going to do that this grow. Now i am only 50 days into a 70 day grow

Someone told me to add a MH bulb in the mix. Whats your thoughts on that

hell yeah man. Go for CMH instead.
They will help reduce stretch and make tighter nodes

some go all CMH but if going MH i would make the ratio HPS 3:1 to MH

if going CMH maybe 1:1 ratio , or all CMH but I have never run both, but alot of users here do.

MH is great to mix in, another option if trying to upgrade lighting instead of LEDS is dual ended HPS.

MH is also a great vegetative light

Cause of the amount of Herc harvest I was using ... when you use it at the concentration I was (befor I started using slf100 to help break it down some) I got a lot of bone gum build up ... so watering was taking 3 hours by hand for 7 pots .. so I up potted .. easy to do in smart pots .. to help with drainage .. next time I would just start with 7's.

My thoughts on that are ... your light is fine .. You need to either train some to get them numbers up .. or run full trays like the do in actual commercial applications .. sticking a seed in the ground and not touching the plant ever and hoping for 3 a light is not realistic.

There are sooo many hps bulbs to choose from. I dont have the time to figure out what one to use. I just use the one that came with the hps kit. Oh i i looking for 2lb per light not 3

Once my new spot is done i am going to set up a professional grow spot. I would have said commercial but someone scolded me about saying that so now i say professional instead lol. Then i will do one lst grow under 1 light to see how much better it is

Question for anyone. I also veg for 5 weeks to keep the size down. Sometime i top but i haven't for the past 3 grows. My question is should i be vegging longer for better root development

Ok so 3 1000w hps and 1 1000w MH? Where should it be. Directly in the middle

The reality is that most growers are not investing their life savings into all the hip equipment growmaus5 is using (quest dehu , Mini Splits , etc). Anyone who has spent time here on the north coast knows it is cool, like very cool! I personally know of many running 4 - 6 gavita's in there garage with nothing more than a 10" extraction fan. And yes, these are the growers supplying all you east coasters with your packs lol

I sure things have changed a lot since I grew in Humbolt back in the 80's but still not sure of the need for any type of grow light there since it is one of best outdoor grow locations on the planet.

Maybe for seedlings and starts but even those were done easily enough in a hot frame and greenhouse under natural light.

yes you would want it somewhere in the middle but like mullalla is saying your lighting may not need upgrading to reach your goal
you could even do two 600's so it would go 1000whps-600wMH-1000w hps- 600w MH- 1000w HPS
