For those of you who haven't read Micheal Pollen's "The Botany of Desire," PBS will be televising this on Oct 28th @ 8pm.

"Featuring Micheal Pollen and based on his best selling book, this special takes you on an eye-opening exploration of the human relationship with the plant world- seen from the plant's point of view.

The program shows how four familiar species - the apple, the tulip, marijuana, and the potato- evolved to satisfy our yearnings for sweetness, beauty, intoxication and control."

ill be checking this one out for sure.
i wish pbs had enough donors to put out more programing
hist and disc have gotten retarded lately... one more episode of pawn stars or deadliest catch and i think my brain is going to overdose on stupidity
