finally fix my camera here some pics my tallest is 26 inches shortest r a foot tall because i top and fim 40 days from seed bout a 8 days in 12/12 3 in tote and 2 in 5gal bucket

Can't afford fem seeds, I took clones off of each of these, so now I will have girls next time too (assuming they continue to gow)! I'm giddy!

I wanna be in the bubblehead gang! I don't gotta get jumped do I? There's a link to my first bubblegrow I'm 4weeks into 12/12 and I just started my second with super silver haze, and purple erkel. Have a couple in soil as well but it was just to get rid of the soil

I am sure he can ! The thing is, I grow from clone. They almost start life with alternating nodes. So, I had planned to wait for the pre flowers. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other it looks like.
I have pre flowers, and my ladies are looking good and growing strong, but I am debating on when to switch to flower. Half of me says now, get some product. The other half says wait, and get better yield. The two "normal" ones are almost 30" tall by now. The one runt might be doomed ! I *may or may not* have abused her a little much !
Res change today, and I'll make the call on 12/12 or not then I guess.

Hello bubbleheads,
I plan on starting a bubble grow in the near future and have many questions that I hope you all can help answer.
1. What needs to change compared to Roseman's DIY thread if I use a large storage bin for my system (30+ gallons)? It seems as everyone here is using about the same size (small) bin for their grows. I want the top of the bin to have a lot of surface area so the plants can spread out more. So would I have to get a larger pump (more than 165 gph) or more air stones?
2. I'm going to get some clones (3-4 nodes and <6") to start with. When should I start adding nutes, right away or...? I'm thinking let them get a few days with some ph balanced bubbly water and when they get used to it/start showing new growth add 1/4 nutes.
3. Can I do a 18/6 light schedg? Will they just grow a little slower compared to 24/7 or is it necessary for them to be on all day?
4. Has anyone ever done a SCRog with this type of system? I want to try it! Perhaps attach a pvc frame with a screen over the top to the lid of the bin.. Any reasons I should NOT try this?

I would suggest a bigger pump with more airstones.
Start the clones off with 1/4 dose of full strengtth nutes.
They will grow slower because they gettin more light in 24/0
Ive seen ScRog done with this system.

I'm trying to set up my first bubblepon system, got all I need except two things - the light and the nutrients. So I'm searching for lights online, and I'm seeing a lot of LED lights. I'm wondering is it possible to grow hydro with cool/warm fluorescents? Also, How do I go about setting up my nutrient solution? It seems to be hard for me to find some good information on which nutrients to use, when to use them and how much to use.

The good LED setups are really expensive,the others are shitty.The T-5 flouros are really good for what we doing!
I use either CANNA Aqua or General Hydroponics Flora 3-part.Im currently using canna nutes with the GH Floralicious as an additive and they lovin the soup!

Thanks! I like using fluoros the most anyway. as for nutes, I have a random assortment of different NPK mixes on the way with micronutrients.
