Its a little early but we're starting to get ready for the 2012 grow season.

I cant sleep at night trying to figure out which TGA strains (an TGA crosses) i wanna grow but i'm pretty close to making my final decision.

So far the ones i have planned are

1.Agent Orange
2.Jilly Bean
3.Ace Of Spades
4.Jack The Ripper
5.Space Bomb
6.Plushberry
7.Time Wreck
8.Vortex ;)
9.Deep Purple
10.CheeseQuake
11.LavenderxVortex
12.QuerklexAgentOrange

and probably a few more.

Heres a little bit of history before we start this journey.

This is my 5th outdoor grow season under my belt.

I live with my girlfriend (been wit her for about 6 years) at her parents house where we grew last year, around 50 or 60 plants.

All different strains. Seeds and clones. I learned a lot last year so i know this year is going to go a lot smoother.

Anyways my ladie's father isn't cool with us growing there anymore so i've moved my grow to next door (my ladie's moms fathers house lol).

So far heres a list a things we're mixing into the backyard soil(there will be more added accordingly), took some ideas from the supersoil recipe

9 bags of Roots Organic Soil
7 bags of Vermiblend soil amendment
2 bags of worm castings (definelty gonna get a few more bags)
2 bags of Mushroom compost (gonna get some more of this too)
5 bags of supersoil amendment
4 bags of supersoil compost
3 bags of steer manure
3/4 of large bag of perlite
44 lbs of seabird guano
5 lbs of high phosphorous bat guano
15 lbs of blood meal
10 lbs fish bone meal
20 pounds rainbow grow with myco's

Heres a look at the yard

we'll be rototiling an pulling weeds all day and slowly mixing in all the amendments over the next few weeks.

Nice start Bra. I'm doing some TGA her to this spring and summer but not like your line up looking forward to your grow. Aloha

That is a seriously nice pile of amendments there. Mushroom compost is some great stuff. For anyone that doesn't know what it is, its compost that has been used to grow mushrooms. Mushrooms use some of the same nutirents as plants, and some that are not. In the process of growing them, the mycos really break down whatever they don't use in the compost.

So we're working with only one card right now so we can only start 12 seeds at the moment (its complicated now but hopefully by april we wil have 3 patients cards here so we can have up to 18 flowering females OR 36 immature)

We're gonna start with 3 seeds of 4 different strains and find the best female from each, not the start i was wishing for but we gotta work with what we got.

When we get rid of the undesirables we'll continue popping beans till we find the 12 keeper females for this year.

the first four strains we're popping are

Agent Orange
Plushberry
Vortex
Time Wreck

Agent Orange hit to bless the future children.....

OOOOOeeee! Love a good outdoor organic grow, especially with the lineup you got.

Having used Subcool's gear in the past and currently, you should have no problem finding a nice pheno from a 3-4 seed selection. Obviously a higher seed germ count would allow you to hone in even deeper for a special pheno, but my experience tells me you will find a gem worth keeping:)

Subbed up and ready to grow. This is going to be awesome.

Well most of the beans have officially popped.

The TimeWreck are a little behind but theres no rush we still have 2-3 more months till these girls go in the ground.

The backyard is just begging for some sexy ladie's to fill her up.

We took all the leftover soil from last years grow next door and rototilled it into this dirt to help loosen up the consistency.

The dirt is so soft right now you could swim in it.

I've been adding some extra rainbow mix this stuff works wonders. Myco's and humic acids??? This shit is the bomb.

That's a pretty comprehensive selection of TGA genetics but do you mind if I ask why you don't have 'The Flav' on your list? I don't see an awful lot of Flav grows around the place and I just wonder if I'm missing something.

No real reason.

I do have a 5 pack of the Flav, I thought for months On which strains to grow first and the Flav isn't one of them.

I definetly will grow it someday just not this season.

I don't tell anyone what to do, but I would like to make a suggestion.

I didn't see any dolomite lime in your amendment list. I understand the SS components will have it, but I suggest more.

If I was running your grow(I am experienced in both indoor and outdoor), I would work some more lime in there. Just a little top dressing/sprinkling over the entire area will set you right. This will also help with any potential calcium and magnesium deficiencies later on.

As an added tip, go out-- right now-- and buy some powdered baby oatmeal. Amend it into your soil along with the Mycorrizhae. This baby oatmeal is a better nutrient to feed your Mycorrhizal mass over periodic molasses waterings.

Just my two cents.

No problem.

I am sure you can find everything you need online via Amazon, Ebay or a Google Shopping search.

My local hydro store carries both...but I tend to find everything cheaper online.

I've never heard of using baby oatmeal in that manner but it seems to me that it would be a sustained food for mycorrhizae. I don't think you'll find it in any hydro shop budologist - unless I'm mistaken it's a baby food. +rep for the tip Snafu I must try it sometime.
