Why are you confrontational, noone said hondas suck. Their race and utility equipment is top notch(well the dirtbikes are ten years behind the rest but reliable), and the cars do exactly what they were designed too but newwer hondas are needlessly over engineered in order to justify the high price for the same designs for 10-15 years thus not a good choice to build up.
You can build an older civic relativly cheap and it will be quick, and can handle good. Fast is not cheap and you cannot make a 300+hp civic handle well or any fwd car for that matter.
I dont hate honda i dislike honda people who think honda is the greatest product in all catagorys in every aspect.

I never said hondas were the greatest cars to man I was just simply arguing that they be built cheapest for most bang for the buck. Now your statement about new Hondas is 100% spot on and wouldn't try to debate that. Now the comment that you can't make a 300hp civic handle well is a flat out lie. My mazdaspeed3 made 486whp on 24psi and with a reverse boost taper map my traction was plenty under control. Btw that turbo timer was a waste of money on that ecoboost motor, no need for those turbos they run. If you ran an oil cooled turbo it would be a different story. You liking that efr turbo in that ford? Efr turbos are years ahead of their time imo

I haven't really been in TnT in the last few days. I certainly hope they come back. It's weird I looked and it said Annie was online but her avatar was gone and she hasn't posted in four days. Was there a ban or something?

I used to drive semis moving drilling rigs so i got n the habbit if it has a turbo let her idle down for 10-15 minutes, theengine in that escape is the only good thing about it lol its my wifes and she has something like 70000km in a year and drives like a pissed off teenagger so shell prolly pop it soon but i have yet to find a motor she wont pop so thats not saying much. I think the motor and awd package should be in a focus or fiesta, those would be fun little cars then.

yeah my apologies as well. As for that motor and your wife popping it, ford did one thing right and sure built that motor as stout as can be. Check out the ford ecoboost torture test. Gives you a good idea of how tough those motors really are. As for the smaller cars having that motor they already do just not awd. The st and fiesta but the huge downside to those motors is the exhaust mani is built into the head so no improvement for a tubular manifold and basically limits on turbo upgrades. You can use flange adapters but without being able to relocate the turbo but yet again running a turbo that requires relocation sure wouldn't be suited well with the crappy electronic LSD they slapped in there.

As long as it's in a safe area it's probably fine. He had the sense to put the kid in the front seat where the g forces are reduced. I waited until my daughter was bigger to do donuts with her in the car. My bigger concern is with the fact that the kid doesn't have sunglasses on and is clearly cringing when looking into the sun.

DANG.the corvette museum in KY just collapsed in a sink hole.A few vettes on loan from Chevy fell in.Plus a few others
 
i've never been a big corvette person.. after my mom's dad died, and my grandmom got remarried, she went out and bought i think like a 58 vette, brand new in the box..
sold that one a few years later and bought a brand new 61, and a few years later she gave that one to my uncle who had just turned old enough to drive, and she went out and bought a 71 stingray, which she had till she died..
saying all of that, even i was a bit saddened to see the video..

i haven't really been a fan of vettes since the 60's, and only within the last few years have i started to like their models again, pretty much right when they started to rip off the nsx imo, lol..
