I just got rid of my vx ss , I ended up getting around 260 kw at the wheels out of her
It was 6spd aswell .
I would love the new clubsport (vf) or even the ss looks great

I didn't see any sports car, saw a couple of sporty cars.

Imo there are two opposed schiools of "what constitutes a sports car?"
One (a) favors English-style roadsters with Triumphs and Healeys being the archetypes.
The other (b) favors GTs like Ferrari berlinettas and Porsche 911s as their exemplars. Extrema: Pagani Zonda, Bugatti Veyron.

I belong to denomination b.
However I recognize that this is an aesthetic opinion, and de gustibus yaada yaada.
For us (b)ists, however, the former pejorative "sporty car" has grown a bit vague. Some of the pony cars, e.g the Mustanfg Boss Laguna, have earned a real place in the GT pantheon. Jmo.

I do love the manuals, and a great V8 (the AMG SLS and that Aston light V8 stand out in the acoustics department) has an inimitable sound. But give me what old Enzo called il cansone di dodici.

hell ya, built a engine that sounded just like that. i built a 408 out of a LQ9 that made almost 1200HP at about 20psi with a procharger F1R and if that wasnt enough we added a 500 shot of direct port nitrous juuuuust in case lol
