Went down to the El Camino Wellness center today. Great service as always. I was burnt out on my friend's indica strains. Decided to see what I could get for this rainy Sunday afternoon. What great service. I noticed they had Mr. Nice at $35 1/8. I was told that it was a different grower. Rats !! At $55 an 1/8th it was awesome - top shelf. I quickly checkout everything out with heavenly aromatic whiffs. Noticed this awesome looking selection called Tom's Purp, The bud looked like a master piece. The bud formation was multi colored and appeared too good to smoke. I was told it was indica so I passed. Didn't want to spend Sunday on the couch. Came across THE CHEESE. "If your looking for a Sativa this is pretty good," I was told. Having heard about it I decided to go for an 1/8th at $55. smells great - taste better - I don't care what you read elsewhere. I actually - because I got so high I forgot I ate my wife's 4 cheese macaroni - thought and still somewhat believe the strain had a cheese after taste. Whatever the cause; quality is 5 star and it is true - major body buzz. I; a veteran smoker - was able to do detailed work while enjoying a sativa medicated high. This is something I'd go back for but this time 3/4 The Cheese and 1/4 Tom's Purps.
Or I was thinking of going 1/2 Cheese 1/4 Tom's Purps and take a chance on Chem Dog 12.9%. EL Camino Wellness is cool, they give you the price break on oz purchase on mix and match. The cheese has a very long lasting high, mellow yet very alert and motivated feel. Great for social settings, eating, cognitive activity.
The other day I was posting on being burned out on crappy smoke. I decided to make the trip across town and spend a premium but I rediscovered the fun of strain tasting in small 11/8th samples vs. larger amounts at cheaper rates for less quality.
I don't know how you all feel about it. I don't mind paying more for higher grade medical prop 215 cannabis. Today I (yes I am high as I am writing this ) I am out of that burnt out phase.
Thank you El Camino Wellness Center for the Cheese...
Best strain recommendation in a long time.
