The Chodesman's outdoor auto-photo grow. Help?

Alright guys I went out and planted a few seeds in the boonies about two weeks ago. It rained very well recently so that gave me hope. I went out today to inspect the plot and watered, and I am unsure as to if I should be excited, or just give up on the whole endeavor. There are some sprouts, but they do not look like cannabis sprouts.

From my experience during the first few weeks of sprouting if stressed the sprouts can look deformed and their growth could be stunted.

The soil is of poor quality, and it hasn't exactly been sunny recently.

Here are some pics, I'm sure a couple of these must be cannabis, I planted 8 seeds.

Anyway I'm sure these need much more water than they are getting, and I can only carry 1 or 2 gallons at a time.

This sucks. I miss my grow tent. All of my wonderful equipment is in storage.

Somebody please give me some advice.

how often the sun getting to this spot out of the day? weed is a weed so it should be happy almost anywhere, and manages to grow without help in tons of places, just camp your spot to see how much sun, and if barely any i would risk transplanting them to a sunnier spot. good luck

None of those are cannabis. I have been growing off and on since 1980, and I have never managed to grow from seed outdoors in the ground except in my carefully prepared beds, and even then it's an iffy prospect. Just start your seeds in solo cups under a couple of 6500k cfls. When they get their second or third set of true leaves, then transplant them out to your location, but you are going to have to do some soil preparation to get any kind of yield.

Man, I'm not too sure. The plants that are sprouting are in some of the spots I planted seeds. I didn't have the means to transplant any seedlings. I guess I'm going back out tomorrow to take another look. I had a few sprouts indoor once that I wasn't able to care for or water for almost a week and some looked deformed. They snapped out of it, but grew funny.

I've got a few indoor grows in. I know what a sprout looks like.

Outdoor growing in a plot that I can't access everyday is not my specialty.

Who knows until a few more days.

Sigh.

Well guys I think this thread and grow are bust. There isn't a speck of life back there. I see sprouts, but they're half dead and spindly. The plants in the pic are even gone. I'm pissed. I've never had problems with a grow. I've always had close to a 100% germination rate. I had to kill a flowering crop a few months ago, now this. I wasted a fair amount of seeds and time with this endeavor. Who knows, maybe it will rain for a few days and I'll go back in a month to find a few plants.

I have nowhere to germinate some plants properly, and there is no way I can go out there and transplant good soil or seedlings themselves.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

I think I'll stick to indoor the next time I can.
