I have no experience of air pot...I heard ir is a real pita to water...but if you have blumat I heard it is really easy to use!
But I read many thing on root and on air pot and I guess it is not really needed for what we do...if you use a big one outdoor for a very long vegg it could be useful...not for 4 weeks vegg and 10 bloom!
So imo you can buy square 3gl!
Since I went organic amendments I want to reuse my soil and I will go from 3gl square pots to 30/35gl container (the one to put things under a bed...very low!) For 6 plants!
I am sure with 3 weeks 18/6 in 1gl after 5 days in cup with 24/0 light then repot in 3gl another week vegg or 2 if needed and bloom! (I count 1L of soil for 1 week of vegg and 1/2 for each week of bloom...not the weeks of flush!)
You will see the difference...no yellowing and less watering with bigger pot!

Well thank you for your help dude but I've already bought my stuffs and I ended up choosing the 1gal square pots for vegg and 2,6gal air pots for flower.
Air pots are dope man, and yes watering can be tricky but a with a little experience it should be fine ... I think that they are actually really useful for "what we do" meaning growing under leds as they allow the soil to dry out quicker ... I like them !

I've also been able to get the ewc, perlite and coco so only remains a couple of seeds and I'll be good to go !

Wassup friends !!!

Took me two months to come back here ... I guess life just knows too well how to keep me busy ... anyway ! I've just passed a couple of hours setting everything up for the new (and delayed) session and here is an update on my litlle garden:
One Philospher Seeds Sweet Love has sprouted and is doing fine (10 days old now) and one Soma NY Diesel seed didn't sprout.

I have prepared the soil mix Little Jacob recommended for the vegetative phase with 20%EWC, 20%Coco and 60% Royal Mix from Plagron and used it to repot my mother plants from 4"x4" pots to 1gal square pots.
These are 2 NY Diesel clones and a Royal Queen Seeds Medical Mass.

So the 4 babys will for a few days quietly get used to the new media under a 100W T5 fixture before being moved under the LED pannel. I think I'll then wait for a couple of weeks before repotting them in the 2,6gal air pots and one more week before I trigger the flowring phase.

In the meantime I'll water them with tap water and some Recharge (available from EU yes!). Pretty curious about it as there seems to be a lot of enthusiasm around this product ... let's see !

I'll also try to get rid of the annoying thrips that survived on my mothers with some garlic and pyrethrin foliar spray ...

I'll come back later with a few pics and that'll be all for today folks !
