Oh yes, The farmers just planted the corn here in the middle of america! So in about a month will stop sprayn for weeds and we can plant in em. The farmer will do all the watering for you an its incredibly hard to spot a couple of plants in a corn field if they are kept short. Grow em kinda big before transplanting em an bring in a little soil cause they got weak weed killer in there to stop small weed from starting.;-)

Unless someone makes a round up ready strain of MJ, be careful of the field you plant in. If the farmer is planting round up ready crops, he can spray when ever he wants as the round up won't effect his crop but it will kill everything else.

I ben looking into the round up stuff, its applied in the soil in early spring. An u got to buy high dollar Rond up ready corn thats imune to it. But it still kills wheat ect so I dont think its used around here most wont use it cause they grow wheat or sorgraum around the irrigated circle of corn, an then they grow wheat in those fields every couple years.

But areas more dedicated corn production use the round up stuff alot more i heard.

Hell most farmers use Urea an cow shit compost to fertilize , in cow country its cheeper than usin amonia. So they use some organics .

But i got a couple extra small un sexed bag seeds I will but in the corn a week ahead of time to check for round up.

I think that round-up has to be sprayed on foliage to kill weeds, so I don't think it being in the soil will be much of an issue.

Also, corn usually gets sprayed with nitrogen when it is about 2' tall. Once it gets that tall, and they apply the nitrogen, you don't have to worry about them spraying it again.
