Seems we've had similar experiences in our pasts LOL !! 10-4 on "The Bad Guys". Now what about some pictures that aren't close ups of great buds? I asking for some "grow" shots of these strains. I'm into breeding, have been for 42 years, started in the early7 70's with killz Afghan beans self brought from Afghan. I'd love to see what these strains look like in the veg stages too. The younger set loves tits and finished buds , , okay, good on them, i used to be right there too. Not now as all things change.
So if you have some shots of the process of growing the strains, I'd like to see those too.
I'm currently growing Vortex, JTR, A.Orange, Quirkle, D. Purple OUTSIDE in the freak'n SUN. Have so many clones that i trip over them as i walk kicking them out my way LOL ! 100's LOL! Boyz gone wild !
Never smoke a joint of Sub's gear as I write , , , , Dudes that soon gonna change !! I have JTR's 6 feet tall and still growing. BUT the Quirkle is the most impressive to seen growing of what i have. Yep, tripp'n over the Quirkle clones too LOL !!

Out door rules and always will. Millions of years growing under the sun, 15 years growing under light bulbs, which do you think the plant responds to best? Free Range herb is always the best tasting herb, just like Free Range chickens LOL! You raise a chicken in a cage with perfect nuts and water, and raise one outside in the air and wind and sun , , ,, , which you going to eat? There was no organic herb 15 years ago. There was outstanding herb 15 years ago. Hydro growers seem to have to think they are the only dudes that can grow herb worth smoking , , , , And I admit, it does look great. But no taste.
And small, local breeders do, will and always will have the best genetics. Subcool isn't diminished by this fact , , in fact he's grown larger by it, just ask him , , , as Subby was once a small local breeder.

I went and checked out your vid on black russian and I saw some vids from the cup and I watched the sativa entry vid and I saw some indicas like LA Confidential. What's up with that? You figure they would have known that was an indica over at HT with as many times as it's been in there mag.

Hey Sub,Fairly new to this forum, But i"m impressed every time I see one of your pics (second only to smoking the actual bud). I'm doin a outdoor med grow & I have 3 Flavs and 1 U.K. Cheese. My buddy grew the Flav from seed and gave me the clones, They are about 3' high and almost as wide.They look like they should be Budding soon, I cant wait. Also sort of related ,The UK Cheese I got as a clone in Santa Barbara, It was labled UK cheese (Subcools cut). This brings me to the point of clones being sold, I think everyone that supplies clone to collectives should give some type of info on the strain,genetics, etc. I see so many variations on names that it makes your head spin.I suspect that a lot of them are really something thats already available. I too agree with you that potency is great but flavor is almost as important. The Flav is the best of both. I will grow Vortex, JTR & Chernobyl also next year. I will be using your supersoil ( I've even started my own worm composting for it. Do you always use the #10 pots outside or plant in ground? I am planning an 8'x8' grow room for winter and will also use SS. Keep em' comin man,Sorry if I rambled too long.

Having some troubles here trying to figure out what is "Vib" here on this thread. Sub just puts up "tit shots" and everyone awes in praise? Hummm? I came for the conversation concerning GROWING the herb as my game is GROW. Probably my problem is that i'm so much older than the normal Subby groupie?
The point to all this is to become better breeders and growers, right? Tight, close ups of herb can and is misleading as hell. I've seen Mid Western ditch hemp look incredible!! Them young dudes driving them Broncos jam on the brakes and fill up their back ends with this shit to this day. In Jamaica, the best herb ISN'T the best looking at all, as LOOKS can be so misleading. Take for example what they call "Morass Herb", which grows in the morass full of water. The huge colas herb is covered in crystals and looks so bad it killz , , but it smokes like shit. Well, shit if you know good herb. The best is grown on a mountain side, the plants are about 2 foot tall and look like hell, with about 10 grams of herb on each plant. The soil is red clay. The herb is referred to by Rastas as "THE BOOM", and it is the finest quality available if one loves Sativa.
I'm growing 5 different TGA strains now , , , for the first time. I'll put them up against my growing of DJ's and The DNA Lads from SoCal. Where is all the discussion about HOW THE HERB TASTES? Does anyone actually smoke these strains? How do they compare to what was mentioned? I have some ass kicking LAConfidential, RKS from DNA and True Blue Berry, Flo from DJ growing, and they are something else too. If all we do is guss over Sub's picture's , , Where's the grow?

If you can read, this forum IS about Subcool's growing,Smoking,Travels & life experiences. Lets keep that in mind. Sub is doing us all a favor by letting us see/read those experience's.His wealth of knowledge is incredible, as is his photgraphic talents. I read entries in forums posted that could be addressed IF they took the time to read the previous entries. I myself just started reading this forum from the beginning last week. People,take the time to read the entries and dont trash the author. I personally find this to be a very informative and entertaining forum. If people just want to rag on something they should start their on thread.I,m 54 yrs old and have smoked since I was 15 yrs old. Hearing life experiences of other people is enjoyable to me. When I grow up I wanna be just like Sub. Keep up the good work and remember that most people really enjoy this and that there will always be some a-hole that wants to rag. Dont let their complaining affect you, negativity is just that (negative) , lets keep it positive, it's a lot more fun.As far as Tit-shots, I think they are beautiful and cant imagine anyone that would prefer a pic of some old scragily ass ragweed.Just my opinion.

Hi Sub,Would you expect The Flav to finish flowering in the same amount of time if grown outdoors versus indoors, My 3 Flavs now as of today have started flowering.

@ ninecoats: Yeah man, there is tons of other threads in this section about growing, breeding, selection, and taste. This is just the "daily bud". just some fun shots of dank buds is all. The "Vib"(E) is good if you like nice looking budshots or "tit-shots"hehe. I have smoked Chernobyl a lot and it does taste like fuel/lime slurpee, and it even looks just like the pics on here. Yes, there is all manner of fine cannabis to be had and photographed. This thread is still cool for a lot of people who like to see pics of kind herb. Take advantage of all the threads in this section. the stickies are loaded with good info. Take care man
