Ive been looking into what "kind of" meter us LED user's would need to measure our intensity, though could you clarify: when we are measuring under LED's- how do we read those meters? Or a better way to ask... what are those meters reading, and how does it tell us the intensity? umole, kelvin, etc... newb question.. i know.

Thanks Brother Scotch A Propley Maintained Scrog Rocks Da House.Hey Brother The Above Meter Isnt The Best For Our Lights.The 3 Sensors Will Give An Average Reading Over The Entire Area Not 3 Seperate Readings.So Instead of The 3 Bar Sensor The Im Getting The Single Sensor Meter bongsmilie

What up brother dawg. Messing with auto's huh? I play around with them from time to time myself. I just had an auto-bubble and auto-ak herm on me so I have a nice supply of beans for this outdoor season. I was wanting to ask you about A-51 and the new line up. Do you have any insider info? I am about ready to upgrade and went to the site only to see two models. The 590w is tempting but I don't want to buy it then be mad at myself when I see the new products. Any info would be gr8ly appreciated.

Both models use the same components for the most part, except the new model is focused more on total durability and close to 100% as we can get with cooling + heat sinks + how much we drive the LEDs whilst maintaining enough power at the same time.... The AF-600 is more focused on raw power, but is built well, and is still backed with a lifetime guarantee. It draws 590w and has slightly over 1800 Umol'/s 12" below the center of the light. At 28" above the plant tops it provides 800 Umol'/s at the center and covers at least 48"x48". (600-800 is ideal) PAR-wise, because both lights- new model and AF600 use identical spectrum and ratios, they can be compared to each other in PAR and coverage quite easily. It will take 3 of the new lights totaling 435w to illuminate the same amount of square footage while providing the same amount of PAR as the AF600 consuming 590w. You're looking at a difference of 155w for the same amount of coverage and relative intensity, except the 3 new lights will provide 3 points of core coverage rather the 1 the big light will.

Actually the new lamps will be a few watts more, totaling about 165w. This is because we're using larger 5w LEDs rather the 3w.
We can offer a pretty good discount, about $100 off per lamp, if you pre-order 1-2 weeks before the scheduled release, which should be the 1st week of March.
