The death bong

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 1 foot and 2 feet pieces of plexiglass pipe, about 3 inches in diameter. You will have to make a "Y" shape splitting off from the main pipe at a 45° angle. You will need plastic epoxy!
• An aluminum or brass stem thread on one end (the thread to the valve has to attach to the stem).
• A threaded brass valve that closes in half a turn.
• A bowl that matches the threads on the valve.
• A drill with a drill bit as big as the stem.
• A cap from an aerosol can that will fit in the end of the short Y off the main pipe, just tight enough to close it off.
• One foot of rope or bungee cord.
• Silicone caulk

HOW IT WORKS:
Not quite as simple as a standard bong. The carburetor is the big pipe splitting off at 45°. This allows a LARGE amount of smoke to blast into your lungs VERY suddenly! The process is like this.
1. Light up.
2. Start smoking.
3. Close the valve (this cuts off all incoming air).
4. YANK the cord attached to the plastic aerosol top.
This causes a ton of smoke to go into your lungs instantly.

5. Pass out.

Why would this work better than a normal carborator? In other words, how is faster smoke in the lungs gong to get you higher? The same amount of THC is being delivered in each case.

This is what i was thinking, however ive heard that thc burns on contact with the flame and is absorbed as soon as it reaches your lungs, so maybe the quicker it reaches ya lungs the less thc lost.

i dont know im pretty baked right now and anything could be possible in my mind right now lol

sounds like instead of pull carb, its a huge hole for a carb, like a graffix bong, but instead of a carb hole as round as a pencil, it is as wide as an arosaul can.

but thats prety retarded. the quickness of smoke hitting your lungs has nothing to do with getting high. no offense there was alot of thought/work put in this but come on....plastic?....Metal bowl peice?..... havent we goten past that yet.

maybe its called 'death' because you are using aluminum foil, aluminum piping, fiberglass and silicon.

i would be serious wary of taking hoots out of anything using those materials.

I don't know for sure how this contraption is supposed to get you higher, but I do know that this will likely make you cough. Coughing a lot will get you higher. It causes you to inhale much deeper and therefore stretches your lungs, temporarily increasing surface area for THC absorption.

that is a nice blueprint and a good concept Mogie, i built a couple of bongs/waterpipes myself, never had the energy to make any blueprints or such though hehe... anyways, if you like that particular effect(lotsa smoke, all straight away) you can always make a bong with its base broader, for the smoke to gather in before releasing up a tighter pipe, its a killer for the lungs as the smoke get compressed and it is very harsh, but hey, i always got damn stoned by these constructs..

otherwise you can always get a smaller/tighter pipe for the... (cup? i dont know what it is called in eng. where you put the mix anyways, bowl perhaps) inhale steady but slow untill you release the choke, the shit explodes up the pipe, still, very harsh, i prefer light and easy to inhale smoke.

im sure most of you are aware of this, i just wanted to add something constructive.

Edit: btw to the nei-sayers, smoketools all taste like utter shit until you used them a couple of rounds, be it plastic/wood or whatever they all work fine when that thin layer of oil covers the inside, as long as the goods dont melt=(cup/bowl/ and the small pipe for this cup/bowl), it will be allright.

I like bongs and harsh smoke and coughing. LOL
It's fun to me.
Bongs are nice, but if you want a sure cough - hard hitter, construct a gravity bong.. For sure.

I don`t know about that? i had a gas mask bong that when you took a hit it whent up your nose and into your mouth. No one ever used it without coughing.

ya i read hightimes and the 8 foot bong they say is king bong i need to send this shit in hahah. the pieces are interchangble like a glass on glass bowl but u jus stack on pieces, ya its pretty sick and its water filtrated 9 times i think, its seriously a one hitter quitter u get so light headed bc the smoke its crazy hahah
