Have you ever referred to a homeless person as, shelter challenged?

Have you ever gave money to crackheads in the inner city and probably paid for their fix, but you had good intentions hoping they would buy a meal?
I have.
One time a homeless guy refused my $20....kind of took me by surprise. Although, this is Canada. The LA brothas probably had the bills I gave them up in (crack) smoke in a matter of seconds haha.
