8 cfls (2 50w 2700k)(4 23w 2700k)(1 23w 6500k)(1 23w 5000k),1 sativa,3 gal pot of blackgold,and a small amount of dynagro bloom & mag

cameras shit i did my best ps.how much longer til chops?

check the trichs, really only way to tell i guess other than personal opinion. usually if all the white hairs (or 90%) of them have turned brown then its a good indication that its done.

-rep first you give the right advice then back it with crap advice that is a horrable practice to teach someone that has no experience, stay in the mountains till you get with the times of science, nevermind i notice your 1500+ post since your joined this year, a clear indication that you know nill about nada

im not that much of a dummy,a great indication of your crop being done is when your trichs turn amber..im just wondering because everytime i think im close to harvest new pistils start shooting up and its been 9 weeks flowering..and the main cola is barely starting to fill out..oh and i have it all the way back to 8 hrs of light.

Well, I have had plants do the same thing, and people said it was a light leak somewhere causing the plant to continue growing, but I think it was just the plant finishing up. But when most are brown or orange it is past done for my tastes. lol.

Then why would you tell him to base it off of pistil color, also your problem bro is your shorting its maturing stage running you light so short like you are, flower hormones max out with 12 hr of darkness no more will be produced by shorting you light cycles, and you also kill you yield as well, its also normal to see new pistil growth even if the plant is mature it wants to be pollenated till its dead just like us we live, breath, eat, sleep, reproduce, and then die.

i never said anything about pistils being a sign at all.so would it hermie if i pushed it back up to 12/12???

not sure, but u can always leave them in darkness for a couple days before u chop.

sorry i was actually trying to address mattthebrute lol you will be fine putting it back to 12/12, the posted link about light length is all bs except the part about mimicking the cycle of the real sun in nature and slowly removing hours of light my increments of 5 mins, and you WILL GET donkey dick colas if you got enough light doing it like this also increase the amount of time the plant will stretch as well which sometimes (depending on strain) increase yeild

im going to do that.ive been scanning this website trying to find a few threads regarding the photoperiod,every post that says go 10/14, 13/11 or etc. has no evidence or fact what so ever behind it.I did read a few articles,however,on how plants grow flowers at their peak on 12/12 photoperiod with charts and all that good stuff to back it up..
