The Fan

This question is quite stupid and I'm pretty sure I know the answer, I just want to know just in case. When do I need to start using the fan inside the grow room? Do I need to use it when the plant has just sprouted out of the soil? Or wait until it gets at least 2-3 inches tall or even use the fan before the seed has even sprouted out of the soil?

Thanks

You can always wait until they get strong before any air blows on them, but it is always a good idea to keep the air in the room (or area) moving. An example, i have a 1'x1'x2' tall tent that i am currently running some seedlings in, i obviously can't put a fan in this thing, there is barely enough room for the lights and plants. So i just use an exhaust fan, and have the intakes near the plants, keeps the air moving, but no one has a draft on them.

I actually use it from the start. i swear that is one reason that i always have such strong thick stems. It helps the plant strengthen itself. Never had a problem.
