The first half of flowering or the second half, which should get more lighting?

You can cut an hour off your light cycle around week 6-7 or so if you want. I don't think I would dim my lights, i might consider adding some uv-b during the end of flower rather than cutting back.

good post. I was just wondering about this.
I was coming to a laymens opinion; that because the strain i grow seems to do most of it's bud growth in the first 6 weeks could i hit it hard in those weeks and then cut back on light/watts towards the end (and perhaps reduce by an hour the light as well as add more red). However there is that 'buds fatten up at the end' thought (so keep the light intensity). So it's nice to hear some informed opinions.
thxs.

A while back I watched a video of a guy who was pulling massive yields (averaging 3lbs per 1,000w) and he said he provides more lighting for the more mature buds. I'm actually in a situation now where I have several flowering chambers with some of more available lighting and so I'm curious.

I run 11.5 hours on 12.5 off indoors but I would blast em all equally. Moving plants especially in the 5 week mark is a bit of a chore.
