The Fish Thread

Damn! I'm 6'2 150....doubt I could even pick that big sumbitch up hahha! I want to feel a fish that big at the end of my line. I was toying with those smallmouths the other day. lol..I want a fighter.
 
i dont know i hit it once and it didnt post it i waited about a min to see id it came up and it never did so i hit post again and then both popped up
 
today me and a few friends caught a few coho salmon they are spawning so most of them look like shit but i caught one that was very nice. i did not keep any of them cuz they are illegal to keep now. cus they are spawned out. they were all around 30 pounds and caught on 12 and 14 pound test very fun to reel in and fight. all fish were released alive.:bigjoint:

Very cool bro! Those jaws are gnarley fuckers. Def not the healthiest looking, so aside from the laws, it's prob for the best you didn't eat any of that. Had to of been a good fight tho and that'll only give ya something to look for next time! =)

ya i was almost tempted to see if they would bite me but didnt really want to find out. and no not healthy, one didnt have any rot on it at all and the meat still would have been good, but i didnt want to risk it. they were rotting cuz they are spawning and they beat them selfs up on the rocks and die after they spawn, some day i will catch a healthy one when it is legal to keep them to.
and hell ya it was a good fight, i had a medium action rod and real with 14 pound test, very fun indeed.

and this was my common silver arowana, they live in the amazon river basin and can grow up to 4 feet and feed on small mammals and other things that get too close to the water, I only got mine to a foot before he died.
