I plan on taking more pics when there's more to show. I've got 2 plants, and the bigger of the two just started showing, it's a landmark moment I just wanted to share, and I encourage others to share as well.
EDIT: I just went and checked the two of them quick before they went dark, and both are now showing! My first two plants are both girls!!

heres a few of mine for you, 7 plants all together, 4 in dwc(first time), 3 in soil. 3 weeks veg and 6 days flower, under a 400hps with Ionics nutes.3 x ak48, 2 x church, 2 x black jack. the soils are kinda hidden in at the back, i only put them in as i had cracked all 7 seeds, i was only expecting 4 to work.

yeah im quite happy with the roots and progress so far,i had a little shot earlier this year with a homemade dwc and a badly damaged plant, i had a serious overfeeding issue and although my others responded to flushing there was 1 that just wouldnt fix, its soil wouldnt dry and it was smelling of rot, so it was either into the bin with it or try sumthing new, i washed all the dirt off and cut a net pot to slip it into, there were only a few roots as it was badly damaged( it was 2 weeks into flower and over 2' in height), within a week it had thrown out hundreds of roots and by harvest i gave me over 2oz. after that i decided to go for a full dwc but 7 months ago i got busted for drunk driving and possesion,they got a search warrant and found my grow as well. so this is me just starting again. the plants are 4 weeks on saturday/sunday.
cfls and led's are all fine for vegging or very small grows but you really got to get an hps if u wanna grow big buds. i use cfls but only for seedlings, they only stay in it for around 2 weeks.

I'll tell you this : I started this whole thing as an experiment to see if I had what it took to grow my own for my own issues so I didn't want to invest a lot of money, I am currently growing these plants under one bulb each. What I did was bought those tall skinny floor lamps they sell at walmart and left the fixture unscrewed from the stand and hung it over the closet rod, using the stand and base as weight and leverage to raise and lower the fixtures over the bar. I guess I did okay, we'll see in a couple of months.
But still, next time, 400W HPS for sure.

a mate of mine started and i watched him do a full grow and the when he began a 2nd i thought i'd give it a go, i got £400 together and bought a full tent, light, and filter set up with 6 fem'd seeds , miracle grow soil, perlite and biobizz nutes. its just took off from there, i grew lots of different strains , had various problems, sorted various problems , learned, grew more, bought more equipment and expanded. i got busted a few months ago drunk driving and possession so i got raided and they found 1 set up so i got done with that too. no big deal, just probation , driving ban and unpaid community work. so i started again a month ago after 6 months. its great to back in the game and because its a relatively new style for me with the dwc its teaching me new stuff. definetly ur next purchase should bea light and then a carbon filter, after those just keep buyin various bits and pieces each grow.

What happened with penalties on growing dura?? how did they get a search warrant from possession and drinking and driving were you in possession of a lot?

Pro Congrats I am on my first grow and man that feeling of knowing they are girls is almost as nice as a good bony rip. Wish ya all the best keep us posted.

Don't make fun, like I said earlier this was my "Can I really do this?" experiment grow, but each plant is under one bulb each. This is the second part where you don't make fun, the bulbs are 50/100/150W 3-way Incans. Next grow I've already got my 400W HPS picked out, so try not to give someone who learned a hard time for experimenting, yeah?
