if the leaves look a little droppy they are, I let the pots dry out pretty good this time, and they got a healthy drink of mixed up ph'd nute water, I expect them to be preppy and up at attention in the morning

I am running 2 cxa3070 cree cobs,, and No its not enough light, it will limit my harvest, I am not overly optimistic about pulling some huge amount, truthfully if I get 1 gram per watt,, that will be 104 grams or just over 3 ounces,, some guys on here are harvesting up to 1.7 grams per watt with cobs, but we all know weight and bud thickness improves with stronger light, there is one guy on here claims to harvest 180 grams on 2 cxa3070s,, so I will just have to wait and see,,
i will be content this go around to get 1 gram per watt, I smoke alone, and 3 zips will take me months to smoke,, by then the box will be improved and I desire to have 4 if not 6 cobs in here the next go around

Monday will be 5 weeks into flower, I found 2 spider mites and like 4 spotted leaves in the canopy
some of you may have seen my spider mite thread
some good opinions on my situation are appreciated, hope this doesnt fuck up my harvest too much, here is where I am at today.
, i over reacted on wednesday morning and sprayed down the plants with the lightweight mite soap spray from the local hardware store
well I wish I had not over reacted and hosed down the plants with the soap spray , but I cant take it back now, live and learn mistakes ,, ugh, so forward I go, the spraying was fine, it just should have been done at lights off, so the stuff can work and dry up before lights on and i guess that cuts down on burning, I am guessing burning is what i would call the browing on my pistols, I suppose you could also burn leaves, but my leaves did not burn, they are nice and healthy green, I am sending you some pictures, I did allot of gardening on them this morning, really pruned and cut leaves and sucker buds from underneath, I was going to leave those popcorns, ,, hell Ill smoke them,, but with the mite thing happening I figured best to trim it up, to where I can see up thru the canopy from below, that way when I spray again from underneath its hitting the vast majority of the leaves in the scrog, then I can try to point and spray on the top and maybe miss the pistols if possible,, so the plan is to spray every three days, right now it will be a second spraying with the hardware store soap spray,, the azamax i ordered out of california is projected to arrive next week,, saturday i am going to lowes and hopefully find that captain jacks dead bug brew ( its for other bugs too) ,, i found out about this because some bud in colorado was recalled taken off shelves because of a pesticide that wasnt approved yet, but in reading about it, it seems like one of the safer ones for sure, and I am not afraid of using the safer ones here in flower , to get me to harvest,, it contains
Spinosad its talked about here http://www.growweedeasy.com/spider-mites
my over reaction was to not learning to apply the soap correctly, I think the plants will rebound to some extent, they still smell amazing,, i keep smelling my hands,, lol
So big gardening for me, trimmed out major leaves and popcorn, in the pictures
you can see the burned pistols, and of course everything else

I hate spraying anything at all on my plants once pistils start forming. I don't think it matters what spray it is the pistils will do that brown out.
Usually a light/medium misting just from the bottom will keep them bastards in check till harvest. They do their damage from the bottom of the leaves anyways. I would avoid directly spraying the buds at all cost.
Another product you may want to look at is Stylett oil. It is supposedly "Food Grade". I would still keep that off the buds as much as possible.

Ijust hope Istill pull out some smoke, would love to turn some or allot into edibles or hash

I believe both of those sprays are toxic compared to stylet oil.
If you want super safe drop a small batch of Neoseiulus californicus on them when you first put them in.

no sign of mites anymore, but the leaves are showing over fert,, signs of nitrogen toxicity and some tip burn on leaves, I am starting week 6 of flower, today I am watering with straight tap water, ph 6.8 no nutes, I cant flush, can move containers , tied up in scrog, and I did not use a big plastic container like napalmd does,
so my only hope/ plan is to use plain water for a week maybe 2 , I can try to catch some run off in the try and test it for tds and ph, but the plan is to use plain water and let the plant use up the extra fert, I think I caught it early, but I have seen signs of this for about 5 days,
riding this out, will harvest something,, I need to decide, if I am staying soil or going hydro on the next grow?,,up in the air right now
couple of pictures from this morning

week 6 completed of flower (41 days to be exact)
this Donkey Kong strain has very little information online and the seed store that sold them is out of buisness here in oregon ( I think the state shut them down), so I have no idea of flower time, but they look like they need at least 3 more weeks ( 9 weeks flower), buds are building, but trichrome productiion has not kicked into high gear yet,, so this may be a 9 or 10 week strain?,,, IMG_8375.JPGIMG_8376.JPG IMG_8377.JPG IMG_8378.JPG IMG_8380.JPG IMG_8381.JPG IMG_8382.JPG
