Hey guys made my first canolli I usually never press my hash but I've been watch the videos and reading the forum it's has great knowledge thanks for all the tips everyone. It's not that big and is almost see through. Was wondering what you guys think did I do a good job?

It looks like a very nice first experiment, you ask us if you did a good job, your nose should have told you that while pressing. You got a clean hash, now is it tasty????????? If you have both, Bravo.

For those asking about Willie Nelson, we went back to see CA and checked again the nose, it is musky with a strong fruity aspect to it. The plant is really gorgeous, TC got some nice shot of it for those who have never seen the strain.

Whatz up french getting ready to run some hash going to use fresh buds this time around and try to get some gold nuggets like u ill post some pics as soon as i eat some chicken strips i got the whole 5 gallon bucket inside my freezer took out the racks im shooting for the gold

Nice work but your clumps look very very wet, you should dry them more before removing from the bag also you need to chop that suff much finer especially with it being so wet imo.

usually i roll my hash into balls but going to try it like frenchy and i usually use trim but i had a airy ass oggth#1 that pollinated with something and was airy so i decided to use it man im fucked up its hard then it looks to chop up them little pieces of hash

Nice Bigworm, 2 little points that will change your game.
First you should use a lot more water and a lot less ice.
Second you should clean your bags with a STRONG spray for a second wash before collecting the trichomes from the bag.
What you did is good, next time you will be awesome.

Just curious how the Moroccan style dry sift smoked compared to your bubble/press methods, Frenchy?

I'm also curious if you could further refine the dry sift with smaller micron bags, doing the same type of drum technique to really improve the qualities of the hash. It seems that this style could potentially bring more flavors to the finished product being that the trichomes are unwashed.

You can refine the Moroccan technique in many ways. The first one would be a gentler approach, the second would be using different sized sieve bags, the quality of your trims is again a major factor.
The dry sift did not compare to my cannoli BUT the quality of the trims was much lower. Dry sieve will give you the highest quality bubble in the simplest way.
As long as having more flavors in dry sieve Hash than in ice water hash I have never done a "trims for trims" experiment. Water do not "wash" terpenoids, they are not water soluble it may be the opposite actually. Have you ever noted how much aromas comes out after trims have been soaked for a while?
