The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

Same screens, 190 and 160 for a second sieve when necessary, sieving is sieving is sieving, water is a medium not the tool. We will do a few comparative techniques videos, to see if the art of sieving was reinvented or if there is still plenty to learn from traditions.

Really looking forward to this. With your fastidious approach and experience this should be very instructive. Dank e schon !

Hey frenchy what are your thoughts on Nikka's 2.0 Essential Bags?? Seems like quit a few Extract Artists are using his kits....

The episode was good. My only criticism is for TC. He needs to be more focused on you when your talking cause I would rather hear what your saying, than his pan aways.

Thanks Frenchy!! I think I'm gonna pull the trigger and give them a go!! Really stoked to get a 38 bag, as I have never used one in the past! Solvent less love FTW!!

Bless up hash creators!!

What are the size (microns) of the set, just curious since I never check what other do.
So we were on our way to Eureka to see the Boldtbags family to found out that they actually moved to LA "behind my back". Big OUPS!!!!!
Go for it make fun of me, I will understand; it is a good one and so typical.
Stephanie, my sieve faery, will send me the yardage I need this coming week so the delay will be minimum.

I've been looking at essential extract bags too. I think nugbuckets uses them or used to.

My camera is not really great but thought I'd show you folks , the bottom one on the paper towel was my first try at bottle press and the one above once I'd learned to clean the trim .The color differences are much greater than my camera shows but you can see the textures.
The same two are on the plate but the top one was made by hand pressing and was a cannoli but was unable to stand in it's jar and ended up as the blob you see on top.
The two balls are hand pressed but can not really see the colors that well. Anyway this continues to be a learning experience and lots of fun.
Frenchy, critique would be appreciated These were done late December and January
cheers tout le monde

Hey Charsi; The balls look pretty yummy, the lower cannoli could have done with more pressing, I wish I could tell you more but it is hard to judge with the picture quality.

I was gonna give tc some advice too. look at the camera (in the rare instance hes not behind it). Im sure hes not used to being in front of it, but instead of looking at the person he should look at the cam imo.

But I agree great episode

Frenchy here's a cookie cross that kept mostly the GSC bud structure. Pic is sinmintcookies week 6

Oh yea anyone wondering about the product terpinator, it works very well IMO....plants are just greasy as all gets now and noted difference on the aromas of the ladies.

its crazy i could tell that was the sinmint before i even read what you wrote, the cookies are so distinct, and their blue power is also and one of the frostiest strains ie ever seen on par with the cookies if not more, and the combination WOW sinmint cookies is here to stay...on another note FRENCHY on my first run with my bags i took your advice and didnt use the 120, so i used 220, 160, 73, 25, but i found with the strain i was using the best hash was in the 25 bag, so for my next run with this strain i was going to use the 220,160,120, 25...is this a good idea??

I have never seen a strain that would have the best resin heads in the 25, size of ripe trichomes is between 70 and 120. Somewhere, somehow in the process you misstepped

I run their blue power too, I actually just harvested one I pollinated with a dr who male I kept...have to see what comes of the beans once I pop em. Fingers crossed lol.

I heard from a few people that high CBD produce smaller trichomes so they are finding the best in the smaller bags like 25 or 45

I did it once with my Jack Skellington trim and that 25 was oh so icky icky goodness, but as Frenchy said there is usually a miss step somewhere in your process. I only say this because that was the only time that happened with my Jack trim and no other time again.
